First let me say "I don't want to influence any child to smoke ANYTHING ever, especially my precious grandchildren, but I am addicted to nicotine and the smoking habit." That being said let me tell you how these e-cigs have affected my family. Due to loss of her job my daughter and her three children moved back home with us a year ago. I limited myself to smoking in my bathroom, outside and late at night I would run air purifiers and the exhaust fan in the kitchen so I could get on the computer. Now we all know those measures don't do a thing to protect the kids really and the guilt was making me very resentful for the loss of our "empty nest" and privacy. NOW just 10 days of vaping and no cigs the kids are thrilled that Grama is right out here enjoying their lives. I took my DGS out to eat and to Wal-Mart (three hours of uninterrupted chatting and fun) came home and vaped on and off while I played with the 5 yr old DGD ( she thinks it is funny Grama has a pacifier. I told her when I give it up like she did she will need to buy me a present like I did for her) The teenager is keeping track of how many cigs I am avoiding and so grateful the house doesn't smell and she can breath easier. They all love the fact that I am not gagging and hacking all the time (gross Grama) and can see how much better I feel. My daughters in laws never gave me grief but are happier to bring the other children over now too. I think this has given me precious years of time that would have been lost.

Hi Gramma, that's terrific news, and Welcome to ECF! You have probably by now discovered you aren't alone here, for sure. My GK's all know what my "PV" is and why I'm using it. I have two girls (one is trying it, but...) who need to get off analogs, and they say over and over 'if Mom can do it, anybody can!'
Yes, take it everywhere, introduce as many as possible to this Cigarette Replacement Therapy, and get yourself used to all the questions! Some are a little hesitant to open themselves up to the corney questions, but still, new things are kind of hard to explain sometimes, new not always accepted right away. You'll be amazed at how fast those "unsmoked" analogs pile up. Look below, that's just over 6 months of a pile! From day one! No more smokes.

Yes Grama, I too was relegated to the bathroom, outdoors, etc. to smoke beacause I have two young grandkids living with me. That was before I found my Titan 510. Now the kids are proud to say that I have stopped smoking. Because of the unknown effects, I still don't vape in the same room with them (or in the car), but I feel it's a much safer environment for them (and me) than puffing on tobacco. Good luck, and bless you for thinking of others.

I have to travel from Georgia to Indiana to visit the GK's and we do this about 4 x's a year. Spent alot of time outside with the smokers while the kids were inside. The first time I vaped in the house, my 5 year old GS screamed, "Dad, Gramma's smokin' in the house!" My Son said, "look, it's not a cig...he said...WHAT? It sure is nice to not be the one outside all the time!
