I am new to this forum and am trying to make my own juice. I'm Kevin, in Portland, OR and stopped smoke (been smoking since Desert Shield/Storm in the Army 1-2 packs a day) 6 months ago due to my son asking me to - use the Ego-C Twist. Now on to the sigelei VV/VW with a Kanger Pro tank 3. 3 of them actually. ;-)
I am now trying to make my own e-juice. I have been for a couple months. I have the percentages right but they never quite taste right.
I purchase my sweetener from TFA, and when I can my flavor from Capella's - one of the best in my opinion. I also get a lot from TFA. I tried one that was not so great - so never again, but those 2 are the best so far. Now what I need to find out is why my e-juices are not as good as they should be. I made a espresso with caffeine to die for - but it seems when I try to mix my flavors it's not coming out the way I like. I know there are about 5 other really popular venors out there I have not tried yet and will one day.
I am trying to reproduce really 3 flavors right now - Creme Brulee (I love the one from www............com the best.)
The next is FrenchToast by FlavorZ by Joe.
Lastly, Ecto Plasma again from www............com
Not taking away from the makers but I feel I should be able to do it myself as well as I do with my Statbucks cloce latte's I make at home.
At first I thought it was steeping. Steep time. It was not. Steeped - shaking 1-2 times a day, left for 1-4 weeks, not the issue although I'm sure it may have helped a bit.
Shaking - thought about a low grade paint shaker but have not.
Sweeteners - this helped but not enough.
Any tips or ticks out there? I wanted to reply to Ace777 as he had a great looking recepie for Creme Brulee but my account is too new I guess. I wanted to pick his brain. ;-)
Well my new friends - reply - send me a personal message, and for God's sake if you are in Portland let's get a coffee or beer and lets vape in person.
I'm very interested in new/old recepies if you want to share. I have been searching this site and they had a few great links. They have an area for that but not that a newbie can post to. How long will my probation be?
