Great tool for poppin carto caps.

I found what might be the perfect tool for removing the grommets from cartos etc. I had one in my tool box all along but bought a new set for vaping. I use the one that has a 90 degree bend and just lever the grommet out, but the rest are usefull for lots of fiddling.



Lordco had them for $8.95 + tax. (BC) Any local auto parts supplier will have them. This set (Performance Tools) even came with a bonus set of useless drivers!

Fingernail works alot of times. If that doesn't work for me, I whip out my Leatherman. It's good for all kinds of stuff.

Good one true ... I usually use a bobby pin or sometimes a toothpick, but have to be careful not to break the tip of the toothpick when trying to leverage it out, so the bobby pin is the best for me.

I suppose anything skinny enough to fit in the whole, and strong enough not to break will do

push pin from day 1...the cart cap stays one the push pin once removed....easy peasy.

little tiny screwdriver, i have a whole bunch all over the place, I get them free with the iphone parts i buy That is only if i cant get it off with my fingernail, which i usually can.

Nice tools, but somehow this reminded me of a old joke about what The US did when they discovered that there pens don't work in space and what the Russians did instead.

I use a small screw, thread it into the hole and pull out the cap, leave it attached to put the thing back in with. The little drop of juice on the bottom of the cap doesn't get on my fingers with this method.
