Green House One - No response from Tim in over a mth.

I have been away for a while bcos I was enjoying my e-Go tank model from Green House one, well, I thought that I was until I ordered my 2nd shipment from Tim. They tank atty's died within days. He kindly replaced all 9 of them and the next batch quite a few of them died as well. I thought that I solved the leaking problem by suggesting that he sell those little plastic cap/hats that fit on the tank, in bulk, thinking that the hole got to large. He made them available in batches of 10. Once the leaking starts, I just change the caps/hats.

I have emailed Tim about a month ago stating that the atty's in the 2nd order also were dying within days. Not all like the last batch, half of them. The other half lasted a real long time as did the 1st batch.

He normally replies right away. I just emailed him several days ago, asking him if he could suggest another system bcos it seems the atty's are of a poor quality & I don't want to impose on him always replacing them, or the hassle of running out of atty's. But I have not hear from him to this date. It's over a mth now & still no reply to 2 emails. hmmm?

I just checked out his web site, in the event that his contact info has changed & it has been removed, yet the site is still up. hmmmm? Does anyone know if he is still in business? Did anything happen to him? I know that the orders go directly to China, as he does not carry stock. He also moved back there last year. The emails don't bounce back, so the address in my book must be okay. This is so strange.

There are 3 in my group that order from him & we are all sick and tired of these dying atty's. Especially when we have to wait 2 1/2 weeks for shipment to arrive. We end up smoking analogues which is not good.

I wonder if the quality of the atty's are poor bcos they are not the Joye e-Go T atty's??? He assured me last summer that they were. Does anyone have any info about this? Do the Joye e-Go T atty's work better or do others have the same problem with them dying within days?

All 3 of us love the Tank bcos it's low maintenance. We are not tinkerers. The cartos require as much work in filling as the carts. Any suggestions? I am down to one atty & the other 2 in my group have none. We need to order something asap. Help please!

Chinese new years, a lot of them are still on vacation, but it shouldn't have been for a month. Try sending him a email again.

Thx for the prompt reply, but as I mentioned above, I checked out his web site today in the event there was a different contact info, but when I click on the contact tab, it has some blurb there and no contact info. Why would he remove it just bcos of Chinese New Year? After all, business is still business. This is so strange. Tim always responds, even last summer when it took him several weeks, due to personal issues, he eventually responded. Now nothing & his contact info is missing.

I have is email address in my address book & the email has not bounced back, so it must still be alive. This is to weird.

All of China closes up for most of January for the Chinese New Year. And by this - it means completely closed. Every factory, every business.

Today is the first day back for most businesses (some will only start up next week though).

There will be a back log of thousands of emails and more orders than can be processed or produced.

The industry usually catches up with demand sometime near the middle of March.

Your guy may have just moved on though. Be wise to contact someone else at the company and ask - but you may have to wait a couple weeks for an answer.

Yes, I guess I better look for some one else and or another type of vaping system as these e-Go T atty's really suck big time. Yet I/we love the convenience of it it tho. When it works, it's great, when it doesn't it's a real ......

Chinese new years is pretty much like our xmas and new years combined but bigger and longer lol... everything closes down during that time and pretty much everyone heads back home to there hometowns. You should see the traffic congestions and mad dash for tickets and trains during this time.

Its ironic how over here we a told that China is a place of slave labor where they work 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Truth is they have a ton of holidays, and when they have a holiday, it is a holiday where they do not work... The dragon boat festival in September is the same thing, just shorter. They have a good number of holidays over there, more than us. All the while we force our workers to work on about every holiday there is.. That Walmart MUST stay open and our workers must continue to sell socks and underwear on Victoria Day, Canada Day, Thanks Giving ect ect..

My friend bought an ego-t which is useless. I told him to get a KGO. If u want to get a tank system, u better to try out the ego-c. Someone in here said, it's a lot better than ego-t. I ordered it, just wait until it comes.

Thx for the suggestions Kencalise. I really appreciate it. I have been away from the board & keeping up with the latest products since last summer. Playing catch up is overwhelming. I feel like a newbie! hahahaha

From what I have discovered, it seems like the knock offs of the authentic models are being criticized. I wonder if there is any truth to that? If yes, how can we be sure that the vendors are giving us the real thing?
Are the e-go T atty's from Joye giving people the same problems? We really like this model except for the hit & miss of working atty's. We really hate playing around with filling carts & carto's.

If push comes to shove, that KGO model looks interesting. I read some posts that the e-go C shorted out peoples batts.
Now that is pretty nasty. I will check out youtube on that one & read the comments.

Yes, I would greatly appreciate your letting me know if the e-go C works for you. Pls keep my name & get back to me.

Would the units at Best E-Cig be authentic or knock offs? Or does it really matter?

I remember last year during this time. Same problem the new year made everything take until the middle of Feb before it got shipped. That's why I ordered an extra Ego-C from a local vendor. Now I'll have two plus a couple extra bats when GH1 can ship it.

All you gals & guys are the best!!! Thank you so very, very much for sharing and bringing me up to speed as to the new products & reminding me of the extended holiday period in China. As well as pointing out that Tim has been very active under another name. hahahah, he must have spotted the Title in my thread & read all of our posts bcos today, he finally responded.
Yes, he is overwhelmed with business emails & as usual, took the time to make suggestions about other products that MAY suit our needs. I like dealing with Tim. Great customer service, guarantees & prices. I'm glad he surfaced & that all is well with him. Whew, I was really panicking. Not as young as I use to be and change freaks me out these days due to memory problems. I hate this getting old business, it sure sucks big time! hahahaha

Had it not been for all of you taking the time to share with me, I would have been totally lost. I am looking at all the Tank recommendations from all of you, as my 87 yr old mom & my 50+yr old friend & I don't have the patience to fiddle around with complex systems. Again, thank you big time.

Tim is suggesting: If e-go T atties are the problem, I would recommend using the new tank system & cartomizers by
Smok Tech with your existing eGo-T batteries.

Wow, these babies look real complicated. Do any of you have any experience with them? Are they as user friendly as the
e-go C or are they as complicated & high maintenance as they look?

I don't like ego-t since the battery is very easy to went out. If u hate atty and carto, u might try out mega cart and DCT from smoktech. I got my DCT already, just waiting for my bwb juice to come. will tell u both stories for ego-c and DCT after i tried them out!

Great, I really appreciate your input & testimonial, when you are ready. The analogues are killing all 3 of us, as we are trying to figure out which model to try next.

My 87 yr old Mom's lungs have NOT DETERIORATED during these past 2 yrs of using e-cigs. Great news! We just came back from the lung doctor & they too are impressed, as she has 50% declined use of her lungs due to smoking analogues since she was 15 yrs old. She now has to have a huge kidney stone removed & the specialists were are afraid to give her anaesthetic bcos she may die on the table, and the spinal injection comes with its own set of problems. Today, after many updated tests, they feel that her lungs could handle being put to sleep. THANKS TO E-CIGS, HER LIFE IS NOT IN THAT MUCH DANGER ANYMORE. YEAH!
