Greensmoke Mountain Clove

My sister recently switched to vaping after several previous failed attempts. I started her on an eGo type of set up, but she wasn't comfortable using such a large device and finally found happiness with some cigalikes. One of them was a freebie from Greensmoke that I managed to find a code for. It was basically their smallest starter kit that only came with one battery, one USB charger, and came with a 5 pack of Mountain Clove. It was this that finally, FINALLY worked. She loved the flavor. The problem is, those cartridges are $16 per pack!!! So, I'm wondering if any of you know where I can get something that is similar in flavor? Either in liquid form or prefilled carts? She has the one Greensmoke battery, plus a couple of KR808D1's. There's no way I can afford to keep her in Greensmoke cartridges. Those prices are outrageous, and I intend to keep her supplied until I feel it's safe to drop the support and she won't be tempted to just go bumming for smokes like she used to on the college campus. She's a poor college kid, and for quite a while part of the issue was that cigarettes were free to her. She isn't a heavy smoker and a college campus is great for bumming them apparently.

Greensmoke uses 808D-2 cartos - not the more common 808D-1, unfortunately. You can get blank cartos for the Greensmoke at Vapor Kings - Tulsa Electronic Cigarettes | Batteries, atomizers, cartomizers, e-Liquid and more!. They're $4.95 for 5. I know they work because I bought some (I have a few batteries from when I tried Greensmoke). You can also get a replacement battery for the Greensmoke one there for $8.95.

I think the bigger issue may be getting eliquid similar to the Greensmoke clove flavor. I don't know where they source their eliquid and I suspect clove ejuice from different vendors may not be "equivalent' in taste to Greensmoke's if she's really stuck on that flavor.

All of the pre-filled cartos seem to me to be rather expensive. However, if you could find a cheaper pre-filled clove carto from another manufacturer who uses the more common D-1 threads, V-2 sells adapters that will convert KR808D-2 to KR608D-1 threads for $2.95.

I was thinking of trying out some of V2's Zigzag clove flavor and seeing if that was comparable. She does have a couple of 808 D1's, so an adapter wouldn't be necessary. V2 is priced much better then Greensmoke, although I do prefer the price of blanks. Really, I'd prefer she used her ego, but if it's harder then asking her buddy for a smoke then the smoke wins. She's not so great with troubleshooting leaks and I have yet to encounter a clearo that didn't leak at some point. Once that happened, she would start smoking, so I sent her cigalikes, which are just easier save for filling the cartos. I don't think she ever filled a blank though and was relying on the prefilled Greensmoke cartos for a while. So, prefilled it is, and she loved the clove.
