Hi everybody!

Thanks for all the great info, spent a couple of weeks or so reading up here, awesome forum!

Last week my wife and I drove an hour and a half up to Headlines in NH. We picked up a Joye 510 kit, some juice, spare batts&charger, USB pass thru and some juice. Would've got spare attys, but they were out. Ya, I could've got it cheaper online, but my wife and I didn't want to wait!

Kinda embarrassed to say it wasn't my first e-cig, even though I knew better I got a couple of Krave 500s from a local mall, lol. One worked for about a half an hour and the other didn't work at all, but that's a whole 'nother story.

It's been a week and a day since my wife and I have had an analog!
I smoked Winston ultra lights and my wife Newport 100s, about a pack a day each.

Anywho, thanks again for such an informative forum!

BOB! Hello from a neighbor! Congrats! I'm so happy to hear you AND your wife are doing it, still can't convert the hubby! (and now he is stinky! LOL)....I'm coming up to my 3rd week after 40 years...yikes, wished they had these things a long time ago...kudos to the inventor! How was Headlines stock up there? Juices, etc? Wished we had a store here in MA! Would be AWESOME!

Congrats Bob & Wife, I know how you feel. I'm 1 week completely analog free, too, after 29 years, though I vaped for about 3.5 weeks before giving up the 2 a day I was holding on to. This forum is the bomb. The members, junior and senior, are a great source of information, support and humor. You've got a great journey ahead!

Yeah, me too, about 40 years of the analogs, I did quit a few times, once for about 6 years.
I didn't spend much time at Headlines, my wife was waiting in the truck with my 10 year old son. Lotsa stuff there he doesn't need to see, lol, very curious boy he is.
So I really can't say much about exactly how much they had in stock, but they did seem to have a lot of stuff. And I think all they have for juice is from China, Dekang brand, I think I want to get my juice from here in the states.
I think it's worth a trip there, just check out their website and if you see anything you like give them a call to see if they have it in the store. I went up there on a Sunday and they were kinda busy, but the people there were friendly and the guy I was talking to seemed to know his stuff.

I'm not far from you there humarock, south shore more or less, I'm in Bridgewater! Hope you can get hubby into the e-cigs, good luck!

And AJ, you're in NC a couple of hours west of my wifes hometown, a small town just outside of Greenville, SC. I'd like to move down around there someday, sure is pretty.

I ordered joye 510s for myself (my husband will try them and then maybe order some for himself) and I'm waiting for delivery. I've been smoking for about 9 years and I'm ready for something different! I see a lot of flavors on the internet, but I was hoping to start out with something a little more "regular cigarette".

Welcome to you and your wife. Good choice on a starter kit. I started on a 510 and have moved on to a mod, but I still use my 510 attys.The next important quest you will make is trying to find a good juice that you like, and you will find the advise and information you find here on the forum most useful.......

convertor - Thought I'd like more of a "regular cigarette" flavor, got the "Wensten" juice, not bad, but I did pick up some other flavors just for kicks, I think I'm liking them more than I thought I would, vaping "Dr. Pepper" right now!

TexasT - Yes sir, seems like a lot of good people here on ECF.

banjo - Yeah, seems like I did make a good choice with the 510, thanks to good, useful info I read here.

JCnewbie - I was going to buy online, but my wife gave me the idea to check out some local head shops, a little websurfing and a few phone calls we found a place an hour and a half away that had the Joye 510. One of ECFs suppliers, Vermont Vapors has store and "Vapers' Cafe" about 4 hours from me, would be a good fall foliage trip!

Seabrook - Greetings from the East Coast, didn't quite make it that far north on my trips to San Diego, but I did see some beautiful beaches, kinda sorta near ya.

Yeah, I'm firmly in that "don't want to wait" column... Many suppliers are VERY fast on shipping. In my own experience, Cignot and Madvapes are both VERY fast on shipping (2 days for Cignot, 2-3 for Madvapes), and both have excellent customer service. Just in case you're running low or something. Oh, and their prices are quite competitive too.

I'm sure there are other supplliers who are just as quick... these are just the ones I've been really happy with. My first 510 kit (and the remaining 4 I bought, one for each of my siblings) was from Vicki at Cignot. If you like the 510, get a PCC if you haven't already. It makes a world of difference, not worrying about running out of power....
