Greetings and questions

Greetings, Vapers.
My first post! I've been on and off smoking for 23 years. Sometimes not smoking for years at a time and then back to it again for years. I very much enjoy smoking and love nicotine. For the first time in my life I've decided I really have to stop but don't really want to. I'll lay off cigs for a few days at a time but inevitably find myself back to a nice, enjoyable smoke and then back to buying a pack every day.

Recently a guy had an e cig at the local bar (pretty sure it was a 901) and I gave it a try. Awesome. I loved it. Just like smoking only almost *refreshing*. I've done a bunch of research and decided to go with a Blu starter kit. Seems like Vapor is good enough for me (I smoke light cigarettes-- Export 'A' lights, specifically) and I like the size of the unit. I'm almost certain it'll work for me and for what you get it seems like the best deal. The only problem I see is that it may take a million years to get here and I'm jonzin' to start vaping. I've been struggling with the urge to cancel the Blu and just get in my car and drive down to the mall and pay the outlandish money for a Smoking Everywhere rn 4081. The only problem I have with that plan beyond the money is I'm not fond of ecigs with red lights and it is a little larger than the Blu. So here are my questions:

If you were in my shoes what would you do? Is there an ultra fast option on the web for a good unit that is close to the blue build (small, non red light, auto bat)? If it weren't for the manual bat on the 510 I'd just go to awesome vapor and get one of those and if it weren't for the size of the 901 I'd do that. Arno seems like a stand up guy to deal with.

And if I were to cave in and go to the mall tomorrow to get a single 4081 bat, atty, charger and 5 carts for an offensive $130 + tax where should I go on the web to tune it up nicely? (somewhere with good juice options, attys and bats). I expect it wouldn't be my only e cig so could live with the red light and size to have it in my hands instantly.

Thanks for enduring my long winded post and thanks for any help. Looking forward to getting out of the smoke and into the vapor!

I haven't looked at it in a while, but there's a blu forum in the suppliers' forum section where people tell how long it took for them to get their set. There may be more recent answers in there.

As far as whether to wait or just cancel, I don't know what I would do in your situation. I decided to order blu because it looked okay and I wasn't in a rush to start vaping honestly. I ordered mine Sept 5th and got it Sept 11th. I think i received it three days after they sent me the email telling me my order was shipped. But I honestly can't speak to their current shipping time now.

I've never had a Blu so I can't comment on their shipping time. I do know that some of the suppliers ship really fast, 2 or 3 days from their door to yours.

The manual batteries are really much better than auto because they last longer. Also, some of the auto batteries will get stuck in the "on" position and drain themselves pretty quickly.

I know from experience that Rocky Mountain Vapor and NHale ship very quickly. You might have a look at their sites before you decide.

Nhaler

Rocky Mountain Vapor you have reached the mountain top of electronic cigarettes!

Thanks for the input!
Another day of surfing around and I found what looks to be the best solution. Modern Vapor Sideshow. Just canceled Blu and ordered the Sideshow. Everything I've read about the unit, customer service and shipping tells me it's the way to go. Pretty much everything I'm looking for. Can't wait to get my hands on it. I expect to be posting in the MV forum soon with rave review.
Cheers!

Buy some 306a atomizers (plus cartridges) to go with your SideSho and you'll be one happy camper. They product a little more vapor and throat hit, but more importantly, they are sized smaller so you can store them assembled with cartridges making it easier to unscrew a spent cartridge and screw a full one in. Plus it helps prevent flavor mixing and will keep you out of trouble if an atomizer fails while out-and-about (default setup lets you carry only one atomizer in the pack).

Hey you are in topenga canyon... we should start an LA vape club! San Diego has one... ;)
