Greetings from Indonesia! It's been 6 days since i've started vaping (though beforehand i spent few months rigorously researching about it) and so far I've had no urge to smoke another analog, hopefully forever. (I've been smoker since a freshmen in college, about maybe 2-3 packs a week)
I've been vaping using the new Joyetech Ego AIO and it's got me hooked! A few months ago didn't even dream of learning to vape using sub ohm devices, but here i puffing clouds all day :D

In the future, I'd like to explore using RTA's with VV/VW devices, because honestly, if I were to buy spare coils all the time it seriously take a toll on my wallet LOL (in Indonesia, smoking kills you lungs, while vaping kills your pockets :p)
The local vaping forum in my place suggested buying a Kangertech Topbox mini kit or eVic VTC mini with Cubis tank when i'm ready. Although one person specifically recommended the eVic VTC mini with a Kangertech Toptank mini, as he stated that rebuilding a cubis head would require a Cuboid to read its ohm o_O (is this true?)

Maybe I could some recommendations from the international forum here :)
Thank you and happy vaping!

Kanger makes some quality stuff at an affordable price. The Subox Mini kit is a great starting place, in my humble opinion. It comes with everything you need to get started, except the battery. You have the option of using prebuilt coils or building your own on the included RBA deck. The included tank (Subtank Mini) holds a decent amount of juice and has numerous tutorials on Youtube for rebuilding, ect. It was my tank of choice until recently. Good luck!

Hello and welcome to the forum @Fajar. Glad to have you here!:)

I also recommend a stand-alone ohm reader.

I really appreciate the warm welcome from everyone :)
And it looks like Kangertech is the favorite here also, so i'm going with your advice and buy the subtank / toptank mini when i'm ready (is there any difference between the two other than how to refill the tank?)

Ah yes the ohm reader, i've seen those quite alot on instagram. Which brings me to another question, would a box mod like an eVic mini or Topbox be able to accurately measure the ohm of my future RBA builds? Or would i still need an ohm reader? Thanks guys

I have a couple of subox kits (kbox + subtank mini). I love them! I also have a Evic VTC Mini. If you think you might want to go into temperature control someday, I would suggest getting a mod capable of TC. From Kanger, the Topbox kit or the NEBox can be used in TC. The Evic VTC mini can also be used in TC mode.

The reason I chose the Evic is because it is firmware upgradable and the Kanger boxes are not. (unless that's changed)
