Hi, all --
A 35 year smoker (25 years Camel shorts :) ), 1 PAD, just learned about e-cigs 2-1/2 weeks back (the new NYS tax). Bought one package (a lesser known brand -- available for pass it forward for anyone who wants to play with a 3 piece unit), then found the forum.

Read a bit here, then picked up a KR808D-1 from NHaler. Down to onesy-twosy analogs a day (1 today), hope to be off the analogs pretty fast (thank God for 24 mg cartos).

Just picked up another kit, for a friend, from another supplier (Vapor4life, as NHaler didn't have the base kits in stock right now), hopefully my sister and her husband are also about to start vaping.

Anyhow, thanks for the super info on the board, and the excellent, hassle-free suppliers NHaler and V4L.

I to am new to the ecig community, but have over the last month experienced the cost and associated enjoyment associated with ecigs. I started with a Revolver Elite, which is a good smoke with short battery life, then moved to the Modern Vapor 902 which has longer battery life, but lighter vapor, then I really got the bang with the VPYR and a DSE801 atty. This is probably the closest thing to analogs that I can imagine. I am 6 weeks without a Vantage and I love it.

I feel pretty lucky -- my first buy was a whoops, but no big deal. I really like the 808, and NHaler's Marl 24 mg taste good to me, as does V4L's Dunhall 24 mg (tasted harsh at first, but I really like it just a few hours later).

With NYS taxes, a few misses on e-cig items are still quickly made up by not smoking $10 a pack analogs (that's the actual going rate here -- NYC has it worse).
