Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself. Have been reading this forum for a couple months and trying to take in huge volumes of information.

Ended up purchasing a Smokeless Image Volt, and giving one to my Daughter, two Brothers and Nephew for Christmas.

So, that's 5 new people off analog!

(I must say that this process is quite confusing and we're still not sure how to clean our batteries, how long a cartridge will last etc etc....)

So, thanks for all the great information, and keep it coming. This forum helps so many people!

Welcome to ECF!

You can clean your batteries with an alcohol towlett or a paper towel with a little bit of alcohol on it. You can also just wipe it with a paper towel as well to get much of the residue off. Just be sure you don't get and lint etc in the connection area.

A little known fact: If you wipe too hard with something it can push the contact in the center of the battery in a little and it will no longer contact the cartos. The center LOOKS like it doesn't move, but it does.
