I got to visit Germany a couple of times for business (Frankfurt but also visited Heidelberg and took a road trip along the Rhine and Moselle). Great food (and beer) and nice people. I enjoyed those Altbiers. And spicy Gulaschsuppe.

Welcome German. I also have been to Germany, right out of high school. I was wild and crazy and thought I could handle beer until I tried German beer. Wooo weeee, it is potent.
