Greetings from Southampton, UK!

Just wanted to use my first post to say Hi to what is undoubtedly the friendliest on-line community I have come across!

Having quit smoking for about 4 years, I found myself back into it for the last 12 months or so. Finally deciding to do something about it, the usual forms of NRT didn't work. I had always thought vaping a bit strange but could also see that it was becoming increasingly popular.

So two weeks ago, I popped into my local shop and picked up a cigalike. It was OK, but not enough to stop me reaching for the real thing towards the end of the day.

On Thursday, I nipped into a vape shop on my way out of the office. Half an hour and £50 later I walked out the proud owner of an eGrip and a bottle of juice. I haven't looked back since. In fact, I now have 6 bottles of juice and wonder why I didn't do this sooner. I simply don't miss the smokes, it's as simple as that

I'm not sure when or why I'll look to upgrade my device but can see that the tech will become a hobby just as much as the juice. Right now, it's all a bit intimidating but also comforting knowing there's so many people with the knowledge to assist.

Happy vaping guys and it's great to be part of the community!

Greetings. You can get any info you need here, I also like to cruise youtube for videos on anything I'm thinking about buying or getting into. I dont know how uk shops are but in usa many local shops tend to overprice things, I like buying gear online. Look up sub ohm tanks sometime ;)
shops over here in uk are not too bad pricewise but still cheaper to buy online

Welcome. Well done on finding a kit good enough to stop smoking. I wasted £500+ or more on E-Lites and JacVapour before realizing the truth about cig-a-likes.

Did you get your eGrip from Totally Wicked?

If you decided to upgrade, remember to shop around. I have nothing to complain about going into a shop a paying a bit more, but the best deals are online, and inexplicably Totally Wicked seem to enjoy charging shop prices for online purchases, which makes no sense to me.

We have a TW in town, and I've managed to save people a lot of cash by shopping around.

Hi. No I got my device from The Vape Shop in Bournemouth, which I think is a chain of 3 shops in Dorset. I figured that on-line would be cheapest but wanted some advice before I made my first serious investment. The guy was really helpful so it wouldn't put me off going back there, but hopefully by the time I'm ready to upgrade I'll have more of an understanding of what's what and can shop around a bit more.

The Souhtampton here, in New Jersey, is a rural, farming community for the most part. Lots of large horse, cattle and produce farms mixed with some residential developments and, of course, the ubiquitous strip malls to support the residential need to shop. Actually, quiet and boring which has its' advantages.

Can anyone point me to the place where I can set up my post signature? I've created and copied the html code but I can't find it anywhere on my profile page. Do I have to wait until I get past my 5th post? In which case this post will solve it. Here's hoping

Try checking again now on your profile page as you had only just made your 5th post when you last posted :)

Hello & welcome from sunny Cornwall :D
