Hello PIFers!

I started vaping December 28th, and had my last analog on January 5th. Before I ordered my first kit, I was lucky enough to hear about PV's from someone who referred me to this website. For a couple months, I scoured through all the information and finally decided on a Joye 510 kit. 4 days later I went ahead and upgraded to two eGo kits (I was killing the 510 batteries every 45 minutes and they took longer than that to charge).

After placing my order for my first kit, I realized that I hadn't done any research on who makes good juice. None. Zip. Nada. Back to ECF I came, and was instantly intrigued by a new company starting up called Kick Bass Vapors. However, I needed to register to be able to PM them to order. Okay! So I register and try to PM them, and I realize that I need 5 posts to be able to PM :(. Well, I'm not a big forum typer-type person. I'm more of a lurker. It took me a few days to finally come up with a question to make my first forum post. I figured at that rate, I was NEVER gonna be able to PM those people for their juice. So, I went ahead and spent way too much on other vendor's. By the time I had enough posts to PM, they had a website. Now I'm just waiting for them to get it fully functional and then I'll order. Can't wait!

During all this, I decided I wanted to find out what sort of people were on this forum. The heart of the people, I guess you could say. Obviously I knew that the people here were very informative, but I wanted to know more about them.. not just their PV expertise. That is how I found this social group. Gotta say, you all amazed me. I spent a few days going over the needs and wants thread and saw just how fast you all jumped to help out people in need. It was truly inspiring. I decided that I wanted to be a part of this amazing group of people.

So, here I am! 1 month later.. I've decided to stop lurking and introduce myself!

Welcome to ECF and PIF! And welcome to no more analogs! I agree with Gunjji, good choice on the ego/riva.. even people who have used expensive mods end up going back to egos.. glad you decided to jump in and not lurk.. I am sure you will be the typative type in no time, PIF is a hard place to NOT jump in! Welcome!!

Thank you everyone for such the warm welcome!

I have taken Leanne up on her offer. Super excited!

Trouble2k - You are the first person from MT that I've seen on this site, actually. I've never seen anyone use a PV in public around here before. Have you? Do you happen to know of any place that is vaper friendly? I currently attend MSU-B, so between classes I would go to a bar to study (odd choice, yes, but I could smoke and have coffee). Would be nice to have a place to vape and study again. :)

The only people I've seen using a PV are those that I've converted. I did hear about someone who was calling the day after Halloween looking for their "e-cig charger or something like that?" according to a worker at the Powderhorn (okay, dont' tell the others where I was at). Other than that, just here!! I've never seen one out in the wild, though.I haven't checked into how many places are vape friendly. I've gotten a little too old and boring I guess.

Don't forget that you have someone nearby if you need anything or just want to trade off flavors (what is it about a 10 min drive?). Just pm me if something comes up, okay?

that's one of the great things about this place :) I think there are at LEAST 5 or 6 vapers that I could click off if I ran into an emergency. I've never met them in person, but I could easily send out an SOS pm and find someone. I'd bet my mod that one of them would be more than happy to meet me.. and they don't know me from Adam. People on ECF are very very friendly and helpful!
