Welcome to ECF Nezzvun.
You cannot use kanthal in tc mode. Buy some stainless steel coils or spool. You can use ss in tc or wattage mode and it's easy to work with. I prefer AVS, Advanced Vape Supply, for my ss needs. code AVS will get you 20% off

Welcome to ECF and agreed that you cannot vape kanthal in temp mode. The resistance either changes too much when heated, or not enough, I can never remember.

There are other TC wires, but I am a fan to SS for many reasons, including the fact that it can be used in wattage mode, as well as TC mode. Vaping a new build in wattage mode for a bit can often be useful for figuring out ramp up times and etc., before switching over to TC mode.

Make sure you are using the right "TC mode" for your wire, and you may want to watch a review or two on your devices to get going. Not so much for the reviewer's "opinion" of the mod, but I find a video demo oftentimes to be more helpful than any amount of manuals translated from Chinese.

Best of luck, AVS will sell wire spools and also different premade coils, if they are of interest to you.

If you need help calculating out a build using SS, well, steam-engine..org will be your friend, there. It allows you to put in different values to see what kind of resistance coil you will get. Etc. And, you can look at different gauges of wire, you want something workable, but something not so thin that it is hard to work with and etc.

Best of luck and welcome to ECF.
