the rings on the last two have me puzzled.
If they were smaller I'd wonder if they were ring holders.
Because they're wicker I have to assume it's something delicate they hold , maybe potpourri?

They seem to be pretty big....and oddly shaped.

ETA: And the fact that the material is woven into Stars of David is coincidental.

So, they're not for weapons,or food, or plants. Neither are they for religious observances, trapping or transporting. and yet, they do have some non-obvious wicker function.
