It sounds like you made lemonade. Good for you. I hope you contacted the vendor so they could make it right. Has your SSR posted here for clues to your identity?

Yeah-the vendor made it right, was just a bit too late to wait. No, have not yet received mine
But I have the rabid postlady-so I have come to expect late mail/mail hidden in odd places/mail set in broken mailbox to get rained on, etc. LOL-it's almost like a friendly war.

Note to all the SSRs that haven't received yet... I've seen at least five people say that sent late and/or still have to send.. so I wouldn't worry just yet! They are on the way

I got home and looked in the mail box and no package, i thot oh how cruel, then on the porch ( yes the postperson got out of the car ) was a box!!!
Now I'm thinking we PIF'd and I recognize the name, Larch it has to be you!!!!

I think my package to my SSR got lost!! I checked on the UPSP website and it looks only half way there!! 
EDIT: susimi, I recognize the addy on mine too! it looks like the post office made them add an address

::::jumping up and down:::: I think I figured out my SS!!!!! Did some detective work and was given a red herring on my box! It was from Santa in Los Angeles, but on further inspection...(had to take out my super duper magnifying glass) found that the package originated in Florida!!!! Sneaky sneaky!!!! I also ventured over to the Wickedly Totally-Wicked thread to see if my fabulous SS posted there...and I think I found HER!!!!!
