Hi - got my first order from you today (great experience/fast shipping!) which included a bottle of Gummy Bear e-liquid. Sadly, I can't really taste it - but that's me, not you. After 40 years of smoking and only 1 month of vaping, I still can't taste much of anything. I was wondering if steeping might help? I uncapped the bottle and put it in a dark cabinet to see what happens. In the meantime, is there a maximum time to steep e-liquids before it becomes counter-productive?

Steeping more smoothes out and melds flavor than intensifying them, IME. As for how long, that has too many variables to quantify. Theres temperature, ambient humidity, alll the ingredients of the juice. For MOST juices if a few days to a few weeks doesn't do it, it won't.

If you are looking to jump start your taste buds, for me, menthol and sweetener was the way to do it.

LOL! Yeah! Intense cinnamon & menthol I can taste, and I thought sweet too, until zip on the Gummy Bear. I'm so jealous when I read people posting about things like coconut cream or whatever, neither of which I can taste. Thanks for the info, I guess I'll put the cap back on tomorrow and throw Gummy into a drawer until (hopefully) my taste buds get better.

My tastebuds took almost 2 months to recover to the point where I could taste subtle flavors in juices. A couple of hints I found helpful.

Steeping won't intensify flavor.

Drink plenty of water while vaping and keep your mouth moist.

Order juices with extra flavor (you can do that here and at some other vendors).

Keep a peppermint vape around to take a hit or two when your taste buds go dull.

HTH.

Not sure if GV has them but if you can get a sampler pack you may find something you can taste.
Very high VG %mix can mute flavorings but makes more vapor where as same % of flavoring in a high PG % brings about more flavor and less vapor.

I mix my own e-liquid after smoking 2pad of cowboy's for darn near 40 years.
Good luck to you and don't give up finding what you like cause there is something for everyones palate.

But see, gv gummy bears isn't particularly sweet. They are more like haribo gummies than american. You can also pick up some sweetener drops to punch stuff up.
