Gunk on wool what the heck?

Good day people, let me pick your brains! I recently got a 901 and itworks well. Problem is the cartridges. After the wool got old I fliped the wool around as I always do, and there was this gunky white paste on the bottom side of wool. Naturaly I thought something wrong so I threw it away. Next it happened again and again. did I get a bad batch or is this normal for 901 wool? If normal I suppose I'll have to pick it off when flipping. what do you think?

I would suggest that you take out the "wool", as you call it, prior to vaping. (while the cart is new)
Perhaps you will find it is a glue of some type to hold the material in place.

it is exactly that a paste or mild non toxic glue to hold the filler in place

Yah, I should have figured that. (duh) I think I'll still cut it off when I flip it. dont exactly want to smoke the glue. By the way what does everyone call the polyfill fiber for shortform? I came up with wool for obvious reasons. and thanks

Filler seems to be a popular title. For about the last 3 weeks I've just been ripping out the polyfill and using a chunk of coffee filter, it's been working well.

the polyfill fiber is the same fiber used in fish tank filters that use charcol in a bin with this fill on the exterior for large filteration. just make sure the fill you get is plain white most fish stores carry it.
