I believe the Russian word for coil cleaner is Vodka. ;)

LOL

I also just rinse the wick of juice. and just burn the water out then burn the gunk off.
in my mesh wick geni i syringe the juice out and hit it til the gunk starts to flake off blow the rest off reshoot the juice and keep going.
in a year and a half i dont think i have ever replaced a coil because it just went bad, usually I screw it up just playing.

Well I decided to go with higher ohms, and wound a coil for .88 ohms after taking the tank completely apart, cleaning it in hot soapy water, and putting in a new wick. I tried the burn-off method described above, but 40 minutes later that coil was all gunked up again, with a crust of carbon all over it's top coils. I think it might be the gunkability of my juice, plus the .75 ohm coil I was using. Further research is called for.

Getting good vapor and flavor at .88 ohms so far.

Every time I use 28ga on my ss mesh I get gunk too. I think it has something to do with the speed heat dissipates in 28ga wire. Using a 32ga wire at the same ohms leaves no gunk at all. I build 1.3 to 1.7 ohms for all setups and have used the same liquid for 5 months.

I now twist all my 28ga with a drill and do a 3/4 wrap on my mech for .7 ohms on the same ss mesh wicks/liquid and there is no gunk. Strange stuff.

Maybe someone educated in carbon stuff will chime in

The gunking is nothing. Leave a hole open in the rba, tilt a bit, even take a few non-powered puffs to draw liquid into the wick more.

Proficiency comes with extended use. I remember having to ask the most arbitrary questions, but after spending time with them, it's like a heartbeat. Works without even a second thought...

Best of luck.

I think it's your ss mesh its the grade of it thats strange to make holes if oxidized properly. I have been using the same coil and wick heavily for 6 months.

Dry burn, wash, toothbrush it.(edited wrong info)

Heres the heat chart..

Your temps @ 1700 degrees @.8ohms, I was wrong this chart is of amps not resistance
