I need to order more vv chips. I will make some when they come in. I will be using a step down vv regulator, and not sure on the run time.

For a step down vv, it would have to be 2 18650s in series (or maybe 4 18350s in parallel/series [no advantage there]). To step down, you have to start with a higher voltage. But 2 18650s in series would be dynamite! Huge run-time.
