I put my dinner (chicken sandwich) on my desk, then had to pee. While I was in there, my dog went up on the desk and knocked over my vape. Battery partially fell out and shorted center to ground.

No damage, it got hot and stinky, but otherwise, it just messed up a battery.

See, ...... is obviously a potential health hazard and bad for the vaping community. Learn to hold your water!

I'm glad that nothing was seriously damaged and that nobody was injured.

now if it would only work on my cats for every time they've knocked over my mods, juice.. ahh hell everything in sight with their neediness(hubby was away all last week hunting)!

My dogs and I have an arrangement, they know that anything NOT on the ground belongs to me, and they leave it alone.

My cat, on the other hand, LOVES to bat stuff off flat surfaces onto the floor, and then often under the furniture.

My cat comes from across the room if he sees me building or mixing! Never comes when I call him though. Real effin nosey and cocky, those felines.

Out of curiosity, what band and model of battery?

It was an IMREN 2800mah (label says 30A max).
I often wonder WHY intelligent consumers purchase Imren or Efest batteries in the first place.

Brands like Imren and Efest are notorious for selling re-wraps (rebranded) batteries with outrageously over-rated specifications. The only reason I can think of for buying them is there is absolutely no other battery available to buy.

Imren batteries...

Are You Using a Rewrap (Rebranded) Battery?

It was actually a battery I got with my very first vape from a vape store. 18 months old. I didn't know back then.

Next time your dog has to pee, steal his dinner.
Turn about is fair play..

LOL ... but just steal it, don't eat it. I once nibbled on a tiny piece of chicken flavored dog treat just for s & g'les. Talk about gross.

<--- These mutts OTOH love them o_O
