Had to break into my work last night...

..I have a Passport Harddrive case that I carry my supplies in. 3 cartos, 3 bottles of liquid, spare batteries, etc. I took them into work with me yesterday and refilled a couple cartos while it was slow. End of the night I was in a rush to get out and forgot that I had stashed it under the counter.

I got out to my car and was putting things where they go in my car and...no case. Oh crap!

I work in a restaurant with a gas station attached, and they have one of those metal gates that slides down in between. After a good half hour of trying to figure out how to get in, one of the gas station workers came over and we lifted the gate up enough that I could slide under.

I almost had a panic attack.

Hindsight is 20/20 but why didn't u just ask the attendant to get it for you and hand it to you? But then again you probably didn't want him going through your stuff,so i would've done the same.

LOL I had to do that once, luckily I was a supervisor and had the security code and key......I thought for sure I was gonna have to explain myself the next day why I closed up but it showed my security code coming back in an hour later...but no one ever said anything...

I guess I didn't articulate that well enough. The gate is one of those roll-down sectioned steel gates, kinda like a garage door, except smaller sections. It's steel and pretty heavy.

I got my bosses permission, anyhow, and suggested that we get a key and put it in the gas station. I've left there before and the TVs were on, with the big neon "Open" sign flashing in the entrance...and couldn't turn them off.
