I have a quick question, that I thought I had found the answer to, but can not find it now. I am wondering if the spring loaded top pin in the hades causes a voltage drop. I am curious because while it does deliver it feels like it's lossing some volts, if i compare it side by side with my nemesis, same atty and both fresh batteries. Idk if it's in my head or if it's actually loss in voltage, because the firing seems different. Both are stainless. Thanks for any insight.

There are reports of the Tobeco Hades clone losing V-drops with magnets, but I haven't heard of any with springs. People are also noticing V-drops with 26650 clone black Stingray...

You can remove the spring from the self adjusting top spring connection and manually adjust the firing pins. Some people have said that this increases conductivity slightly but we have no scientific evidence to back that up.

I got my Tobeco Hades a few days ago, I notice my Hades hits harder without the spring/pin installed. Something about the small spring, lack of tension and tiny pin being in contact with the battery makes me think it could be better. Once i remove the spring/pin and the entire silver contact is in contact with the battery, I feel and notice it has better contact and hits harder IMO.

I am also using a spring in my switch, Not the magnets.

I was messing with some magnets i had in my vape drawer and have found that if you want a super easy and smooth button and have a Nemesis switch magnet laying around, If you use 1 Nemesis magnet at the bottom and 1 Hades magnet in the top of the switch, It has a super easy and smooth push. VERY nice actually. Currently using this setup at the moment.

Did you notice any reduction of your "hit"..(voltage drop)

I noticed a reduction, yes. Could be placebo but I did notice. Can't check scientifically though.

I just removed the spring and the pin and adjust the screw according to the atty on top so it sits tight with the battery making full contact and that's it. Dead easy

I'm on a copper clone though

For whatever reason I got zero notifications this was responded to. I just noticed that it doesn't feel the same. I got magnets in it currently I could try it with the spring in instead and test. I will also try removing that spring in the pin.. I was uneasy about that because since it floats i just wanted to make sure it would still make contact.

I thought you were talking about the top (positive) section in the first place.

Magnets on the bottom is fine. Do what I said, remove the spring and the pin from the top section and adjust the little ring manually with your atty already sat to fit snug with the battery and vape away. Give that a go and you'll know what I mean.

Yeah, I just did that and it does work better.. gonna need to do some more fine adjusting getting little battery rattle or maybe try to find copper spring. But, thanks for all the responses.
