Halloween story contest, ends 10/25/13

She looked around and saw nothing. She brushed it off as being in an unfamiliar place and tried to go back to sleep. Jessica felt like something was watching her, still.
Someone was tapping her on her shoulder. She could her a woman whispering "get out..get out!" She opened her eyes and there was no one there. She jumped out of bed and hurried to Emily's room. She opened the door only to find her gone.
Saw Emily sleepwalking. A shadowy, ghostlike figure was about to push her down the big, spiral staircase.
Jessica sat rocking back and forth whimpering softly to herself as Emily slept....
When all of a sudden - Jessica sees Emily starting to rise from the bed until she is just floating in the air.
But she just ended up pulling her up with her until Jessica fell to the ground. Even the "thump" didn't wake Emily up.
Dealing with spirits was something
Jessica had not experienced, she needed Jades help. Yelling for Jade she tried pulling Emily down. Finally he was there and with a wave of his hand she slowly was back on the bed!

Jade turned to Jessica with a firece look in his eyes, " I thought i told you to STAY IN YOUR ROOM!"
"You don't know what happened!!" Jessica said. "It's safe to say that newer people are not safe here and Emily will be leaving with me!" It was obvious she was right and they all agreed . Jessica and Emily headed for her father's cave to begin a training period for Emily and a lot of work and books for Jessica. After a day they were finally there, they could relax and with 2 days left till Emily's 18 birthday they had a party to prepare for.
With Emily's birthday being so close to Halloween, she wanted a spooky theme. A bonfire and hayride with S'mores and friends.
The word quickly went out about the party and many were going to be there. After so many bad things that had happened all was calm now and Emily and Jessica were getting to know each other and the party would be a good time for all.
Emily had been texting with a new boyfriend and she was excited to have him come to the party. She didn't know him that well but figured it would be a good time to get to know him better. She was into the dark and cool guys. Besides, he might liven up the party because she heard he was a pyromaniac that loved to jump over fires and do stunts.
So Emily texted "Luc" to ask him if he would come to the party. He immediately replied and said he would be there. All excited that he accept the invitation - Emily ran to Jessica to tell her that her new boyfriend was coming to the party. (Little did Emily know what she now had set into motion and that "Luc" could not have gone to party without her specific invitation to go.)
