Last night I drained one of the cigar batteries after a few days of use. I was using it pretty heavily so I'm not surprised. I couldn't resist taking it apart. It came apart fairly easily and I found that it contains a 10430 battery that is rechargeable. I hooked some clip leads from my trustfire charger to the battery and charged it. Put it back together and it works perfectly. I thought about soldering a couple leads inside and leaving them in the end cap for another charge but just wanted to see if the recharge would work. I think the next one will have a couple leads stored in the end cap.
Yeah if you pop the cap off and carefully pull the sensor loose then you can pull the white rubber seal. Once you have that, you can push it the rest of the way out by pushing on the sides of the coil and the battery and everything will come out with everything still connected.
I love smorking!
Much better than smoking huh?>lol
serious, that is a cool thing you found about the battery.
Might have to see if we can get a charging port or something built in!
Possibly a mini or micro usb?
