Hello again everyone!
Based on the kind words and advice people had to offer me on the first review, I figured I'd throw another one together. Decided this would make a nice break from the research paper I have due tomorrow.
Up for review right now is the 7 flavor sample pack from Halo e-liquids.
Packaging-
I never thought I would care about how my product looked, but this is just too cool. The sampler pack comes in a tin cylinder with a nice, pretty Halo sticker on the top. Opening the tin, I found all of my 5ml bottles stored securely in a foam cutout arraigned in somewhat of a revolver type pattern. Very slick. I will be using this long after my sampler vials are gone!
Now, onto the ejuices!
Vapor production on all are similar...giving a nice cloud to expell.
Note: All juices are 24/mg nic and vaped on a standard 510.
Torque 56
--Easily my favorite of the bunch. Advertised as being a strong unfiltered tobacco taste, Torque 56 has a dark, earthy tobacco taste to it. Very potent and strong. If anyone had ever smoked an unfiltered cig, the intense wall of flavor that hits you is very similar to this. If you desire a throat hit, be prepared...this one is mighty. If you are looking for a vape that will kick you in the guts, ask you for your lunch money and then throw you down a flight of stairs, I'd suggest you take a gander here. I will certainly be ordering a full 30ml from Halo of this juice.
Freedom juice
--Halo's website recommends this one for beginning vapers because it is most mild and widely liked. A slight taste of sweetness towards the end. Not bad, but not enough taste for me. Mild throat hit.
Smooth 8
--Kinda undecided on this one. The site advertises a "ginger" flavor and I can certainly taste it. It is a much more mild flavor. I'd say it is not quite potent enough for my tastes, but for someone transitioning from smoking light analogues, I could see it working well. Decent throat hit.
True Pure
--The first of the mentol flavors. Couldn't get much of a taste out of it, but I do get a mild cooling sensation on the exhale. Coming from someone who chain-smoked full strength menthol analogues, it is nice...but just not strong enough for me.
Ice Menthol
--Kind of a wintergreen taste to it. A slightly stronger cooling sensation. Not bad!
Cool Mist
--I would have to describe it as the mildest of the menthol flavors. Light cooling sensation.
Bella Valente
--Interesting one. Advertised to be similar to a vanilla cigar, it has a rich feeling to it, but not near the sensation as Torque. Medium-mild throat hit.
Overall, I'd say that there would be something for everyone in this sample pack. The reason I made this purchase was to try the 3 menthol flavors, but I ended up liking a regular tobacco flavor best!
Just my 2 cents.
