Halo Facebook, Halo Facebook group question ?

I've got a question. Halo has a facebook page and now a Halo group on Facebook. I seriously don't get it.

I have yet to figure out the point of both a group and a page. So what's exactly is the purpose of having both ?

I am a Halo user and an avid facebook fan.

The Halo 'page' only allowed one-way communication from Halo directly to anyone who clicked 'like' on the page. When fans posted on the page, other fans could not see the posts unless they logged directly onto the page.

The Halo 'group' allows contant communication between ALL members. If I posted on the group page and you were a member, you would see the post on your wall.

I am a fan of the Halo page and a member of the Halo group. To me, it just seems like an improvement made by Halo. The group seems to go hand-in-hand with the great customer service of JB. They seem to really care about their customers by enhancing their vaping experience.
