Halo Freedom Juice

Since taste is so subjective, you did a good thing by finding a combo that works for you.
IMO, the freedom juice did NOT change for me. I still do not care for it. But a lot of people LOVE it.

just reveived Freedom and sampler of Harly a few days ago. Not convinced about them yet, but as many have said, I will continue to vape to see if the tastes grow on me.

I am getting the taste of "incense" - like from my Catholic grade school days - from the Freedom. Yikes, good/bad memories!

The Harley is defintely an Irish Creme taste, not necessarily Bailey's, but more of an Irish Creme-flavored coffee.

Just tried this "juice" again.
Vile. I can't believe we're talking about the same product.
Tried cutting with J.C.original and Le'Cig Marlboro.
Just wasted some good juice.
Terrible chemical aftertaste.
Also forgot to mention the smell. Smells like it tastes.
Bad bottle? American Q.C.?

I just got mine today. IMO, it's awful. Hubby says it's like vaping old lady perfume. My husband and daughter tried it and both agree. It's a chemical taste that is hard to rid yourself of afterward.

I bought 2 bottles and both taste exactly the same. I got Smooth8 and Freedom.

I took the caps off the bottles and am letting them sit for a few hours. It was awfully cold when I got them out of the mailbox. But I let them get to room temperature before I tried vaping them.

I've tried EcoPure and liked it. I don't like this stuff at all.

I guess I'll try it again tomorrow, one last try, though my stomach is lurching at the thought. The stuff actually gave me a headache, and I kept re-tasting it for hours afterward.

It was hard to try to keep vaping it for as long as I did, but I thought it might just be that the atty's needed priming and it would get better. It didn't. I gave it up as soon as I realized it definitely wasn't the atty's anymore. Then I handed it to hubby.

He didn't like it either. I wouldn't cut anything with this. It tastes like a chemistry experiment gone bad.

Mine just showed up...Its cold and snowing out so I had to let the bottle warm up a while before trying.

Born on date is 02/04/2010, this stuff was mixed just 4 days ago!

Interesting flavor, tobacco, vanilla, something just slightly floral...Good throat hit (everything pales in comparison to the Harley56 for throat hit to me now) and massive amounts of vapor. Very clean, little aftertaste, does seem to dry out my mouth though.

Will be interesting to see how this one changes over the next few days, had a really bad day with H56 this weekend but was back to normal this morning.

Well, there goes my cold weather theory.

I really, really wanted to like Freedom, but I guess it isn't gonna happen. I tried it again yesterday for the first time in over a week. The cedar aroma & taste is just overwhelming; there's not even a hint of anything else, like vanilla, which I've seen here that other ppl noticed.
Fortunately, my husband grew to like it, so our bottle isn't going to waste.
Halo definitely has a good thing going though; their packaging's great, and Freedom did give me the best vapor production of anything I've tried.

Freedom is a good juice, but I prefer the menthol flavors from Halo. As others have mentioned, Freedom does have a lingering cedar smell on exhale. Freedom would not be a good choice for stealth vaping or if you have any problems with cedar. The initial chemical smell did settle down after a few days. I believe you have to actually open the bottle a few times each day for this to occur. The flavor was strong the first day. A few days later it tasted the same, just a little weaker.

Then I tried the Smooth and it still had that horrible taste, like drinking perfume.

I'm wondering if they both tasted like that yesterday because I tried the Smooth first and then used the Freedom in the same atty.

I had left them to sit last night for a few hours without their caps on. I'm going to leave them again today without the caps and try them again tomorrow.

That sounds odd. I will admit that smooth8 has way more flavor than freedom, but freedom is far from being flavorless. What equipment are you using and at what voltage?

When I first tried it, I was using a GGTS with a 3.7 batt and 510 atty. The second time I was using my Chuck with a 3.7 batt and 510 atty.

How much does 30ml last... I only vape Halo menthols, right now I'm vaping Newpure. I was a 1.5 pack a day smoker and I tend to chain vape.

I use 24mg - and I can use up a 30ml bottle in a little more than 2 weeks. Sometimes less... sometimes a little longer.

Now that I'm into a good routine, I try to order when I'm about half-way done with a bottle, so I always have a full bottle and a half bottle sitting here.

Keep in mind - I am a heavy vaper. My e-cig is in my mouth like a pacifier

I'm a 510 user and I think my 510 was really burning through e-liquid for a while. I was having problems with burned bad tasting atties, etc... so I was doing a lot of messing around with it and I know I was wasting e-juice.

I just got a Tornado on Friday - and it seems much more efficient... I'm not messing around with the carts - I'm actually vaping my carts almost dry... so - I am hoping that the days of "juice waste" are over.

Factor in, I'm still pretty new at all of this, so YMMV

So far I have tried 30ml bottles of Freedom and Nupure and a sample bottle of Menthol Ice. I'm a long time smoker of Menthol Light Cigs, Virginia Slims Luxury Lights, and have to say that I just don't taste the menthol in either of those two. The Freedom was OK, but I also experienced that perfumey tast. Made me think of mens cologne. No tobacco flavor. They all make great vapor, but I'm not getting any TH at all. All of the above are 18mgs except for the sample which is only 6. Does anyone think that going to 24mg will give me some TH? I mean, I agree that the taste is clean, but as I type this, I'm thinking that I sort of get an Ivory soap taste with the Nupure. I don't know. None of them taste like tobacco to me and again, I'm just not tasting menthol either. I really wanted to love these considering how everyone is raving about them plus I'm tired of spending money on Juice that dissapoints. All of my e-cigs are 901s and I have tried these juices on several units. Same thing from all of them. I'm so jealous of those folks who claim to get great TH and real tobacco taste. I so miss that.

I do not get any tobacco taste from the menthol flavors at all, but I don't think they are supposed to. have you tried mixing one of the tobacco flavors with your newpure for example and see how you like that?

Yes, It seems to vap a lot faster. I am going through 30ml in about 3 weeks.

mine is lasting a lot longer..a 30ml bottle of dekang would last me 2 weeks this stuff is lasting 3 weeks. hmmm
