Finally someone has described that hint of something that cant be explained. I agree that there is something weird and at first it totally turned me off of it. mix in a couple drops of new pure and it cancels that weirdness, it doesnt make it taste menthol it just cleans up the taste, and it boosts up the throat hit, so double bonus. its funny though coz now i keep wanting to vape it straight and i dont taste that wierdness anymore.can someone tell me why halo juice tastes different every other time i vape them.
I have yet to begin to like this nicquid. Has a real prominant taste I just can't seem to get past. And I'm trying my hardest.
I have tried it on a stock 510 in the cart, direct dripping. 3.7 volts, still no go and at 6v nadda.
Guess I've done a bad thing with this purchase!!!!!

I like it now but I really didn't the first couple of days. I still like the Bella better but the Freedom is good.
hmmm I think it tastes more like mild pipe tobacco, but I do shake up the bottle every once in a while just to make sure I constant flavor.
Thanks for all of the replies everybody. I haven't been near a computer for a few days, so whoops. The strange taste has gone away and I quite enjoy it now. I love the Newpure and I placed an order for the Bella Vanilla on Thursday, so it should get here within a couple of days. Mothballs mightbe close to what I was tasting(Don't ask where I've tasted them at, lol

I got kind of a cedar taste or something that didn't agree with me, so I set it aside and will try it again sometime, maybe add some menthol to it. I also tried the Menthol Ice, which I wasn't completely digging initially, but am liking it more and more.
Whether you like the taste or not, the lot code tracking is something that all juice suppliers should adopt. I admire them for taking the initiative to do that.

I do get some cedar flavor and I really like that characteristic. I need to try them all! *shake*. The lot code system is something that needs to be adopted by all suppliers that make their own liquid; it gives us consumers more comfort.
I have pure8, freedom, and cool but i dont like any of them. The ginger taste is way too strong in pure 8. Freedom makes me think that im vaping flowers or something. Cool has no taste and very little menthol. The only way I can convince myself that Cool has menthol is if I drink water afterwards and the water feels colder in my mouth. All three leave no after taste which I guess is good for some people, but it leaves my mouth bored. Like you know when you only eat salad for a meal and you feel like you havent eaten anything after.
Another example of everybody having different palates. HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT FOR THEM?! *twitch*. I don't have PayPal, so nvrmnd, lol. The only menthol that I have tried is my free sample of Newpure and I love it. I do agree that it doesn't have enough menthol though.
Recv'd my Freedom and Newpure today along with sample of Menthol Ice. I have to say that after reading all of the posts about how great these were, I was a bit let down. Especially considering the price. None of them seem to have any flavor at all. I am a long-time "light" menthol smoker yet I can barely taste menthol at all in the Newpure and Menthol Ice. I thought I would try the Freedom since someone who is a menthol smoker said this was so good that they were vaping it all day instead of menthol. Oh well, to each his own. I just wish I could find a menthol juice that tasted like my old Virginia Slim Luxury Light Menthols. It seems that unless it is a sharp, pure menthol (which gives me a major headache) it has no taste at all. The search continues...
I thought the same thing many of you do about the menthol ice and the newpure, but I really gave it my best shot for 3 days and the stuff grew and grew on me, I really didnt like it at first but kept coming back to it, I would suggest trying it for a few days and see what happens then, anyone who doesnt like either shoot me A PM
lmao, awesome, that's pretty good detective work, it's is a combination of licorice, polident, 14 year old ribbon candy fused into a solid mass in a candy jar and nostalgia! thank god the mystery is over.
Lol. You forgot about the medication and urine. I really do love this stuff now and I don't like DeKang now because of it. At least I'm still saving over analogs. I just got my Bella Vanilla and sample of Harley 56 today and I love them.
The juice that tastes more like an Al Capone is the Harley 56. To me, it now has a cognac taste to it. It's so funny how everybody's taste differs.
