Hello! Brand new here so obviously I can't ask this in the Halo subforum yet, but is there any particular reason that the Halo website says that I shouldn't use my G6 passthrough with their wall charger USB outlet? I am rather limited on PC USB ports but have the wall charger one just kicking around in my drawer, so it would be very nice to be able to use that. I'd rather not try it if it has something to do with the power from the wall being too high for the passthrough to handle as I am guessing that could cause the passthrough itself to fail in some way, either by burning out or exploding (yikes).

Most passthrus I have used (I have not used Halo) require at least a 2 amp wall wart...although I have used 1.5 amp. I suspect that the Halo wall wart is something more like .5 amp...which won't be high enough to power the passthru.

Just tried it and you appear to be right. It simply does not fire. So it's not a problem of it giving too much power, but too little. That is... odd.
Sorry, it's not a passthrough battery in the typical sense. It's a USB cable with a G6 sized connector and manual button for the G6 cartos and clearos.
This one you will need for passthrough...
Ive a passthrough myself, it works fine on a updated USB port 2.0 or USB 3.0 port, wall adapter must be at least 1A

I use mine on a wall adapter from samsung and it works fine. I have noticed it will not fire on cheap adapters though.
