I quit smoking 2 weeks ago after trying the markten ecigs. They aren't that great and the battery SUCKS. I want something better. One thing I do like about the mark ten is that it is almost the same size as a real cigarette and being so quick off the stink sticks I want something familiar in my hand. What would you recommend? I was thinking of doing the g6 with the short battery.

My other question is, can I buy pre filled cartridges from other places and have them work with the g6 or v2's, etc? Or are the pre filled ones all brand specific? I will of course the e-liquid in a bottle too once i'm used to the whole thing.

any help would be great!

I bought the G6 starter kit 2 weeks ago with the long automatic batteries (which last me about 8 hours per charge) and I find that I get plenty of nicotine with this starter kit and the Halo tobacco sampler at 18mg. Took about 1-2 days to get used to the flavors, but I like 'em now. There are references which will show you which brand cartridges will fit your batteries. I prefer the Halo mini tank to the cartridges but each has its place. I'm sure the V2 is good quality as well. I'm only 18 days in to vaping and 5 days without a cigarette, after 35plus years. Good luck

If your set on getting a cigalike, v2 and halo are two of the best out there. Halo has a good following and has a good flavor selection as well. If I remember the g6 is for their cartridges and the Triton is their tank system although less of a cigalike. If you feel you will be doing this for a while you might want to go ahead and start with tanks, that will save you some money. If you have a vape store near by, you might want to go in and check out the ego style batteries and possibly something that is VV/VW. Just to see how it feels in your hand, the smaller maH batteries are as big as you think. I went the cigalike route and wish I would have just started with VV/VW batteries. Would have saved a lot of time and money. I'm using the MVP 2 with mini protank 2's with coils I built myself. Everyone is different but it's good to explore your options. Just do what is right for you, the best set up is the one that keeps you off cigarettes.

honestly, once you get into a better setup, the attachment to something to resembles a cigarette diminishes quickly. alot of us are former smokers and are quite pleased with devices ranging from ego/evod-style to box mods/rbas/advanced vv/vw and mechanical mods.

I tried to like ciga-likes years ago, but always failed -- they arent that great. I've been smoke-free since I first bought an evod kit and have since progressed into mech mods and rebuildables/drippers.

I recommend starting with something like an itaste vv v3 and an aerotank mini or just an evod starter kit. you will be satisfied.

MBC04 congratulations in quitting smoking. For me the G6 from Halo got me off cigarettes. Vaping has a learning curve and for beginning you can't go wrong with the G6. I've upgraded to the Halo Triton after 4 months on the G6. I found I needed the cig-a-like in the beginning to really help me with the mental aspect of giving up analogs. I also still use my G6 as some juices just taste better in a carto and for use in public.

And yes you can buy pre-filled cartomizers from other vendors as long as they are 808 threaded which is what the G6 is. :)

Joyetech eRoll is a very small sized electronic cig.
If the battery is fast empty, just take 2 or 3 batteries with you for on the go, but the eRoll do have a charge box and you can take this with you.

Note:
The atomizers are not really cheap.

G6 Halo is quality too.
Not sure if they do have "Wanna Vape" where you are, but it looks like a regular cig and do have a 5V battery, they are strong.
