Halo Longhorn 6mg nicotine, 5v USB passthrough, 808 Cartos. Steeped for about a week. The color is a light gold, and it smells amazing. Really didn't notice a vast change in the flavor after steeping, with the exception of the initial cherry or floral notes I was picking up now taste a bit more like honey. Not a sickly sweet honey flavor, just a touch... it's not a super sweet juice... I find the taste very mellow, refreshing and it does remind me a bit of Turkish tobacco but they are different enough to easily taste the difference between them. I still detect a cocoa/chocolate aftertaste on the exhale. I find this juice to be complex and extremely tasty! One drag will remind you of a good cigar, and the next more of a nice pipe tobacco...it's full of suprises!

Love the flavor, tastes awesome! 5 of 5 stars.
Vapor production was great, what you expect from Halo. 4 of 5.
Throat hit was nice, mellow and I would say it would be a 4 of 5.

I still have not found anything to dethrone my beloved Tribecca, but I would definately not kick this one out of rotation!!

At that voltage/watts (can you tell me what ohms the carto/atty you used) does it taste dry ?

I think they are 2.0 ohm cartos, they get a bit hot. I did seem to notice that everything tasted a bit dryer with the 5v. The 808 batteries I have are (I think) around 3.5 volts and it's definately smoother but the flavor seems to come across better with the passtrhough.

I once got some Captain Jack that was sort of weird/perfumy. I had to let it sit open for a coupe of days for it to get "normal" LOL every so often I would swirl it around a bit. I wondered if it was a temperature thing, since it was hot in NC but cool weather in NJ where it shipped out from (this was back in April). Torque is awesome too, but I'm stuck on Tribecca still.

I like the tribeca as well. It has a very different flavor. I read that some say it is a RY4 family relative, but I think it has a flavor all it's own. I might try the Longhorn. I was a Camel smoker and kind of like a Turkish type taste, if that's what I can get from it. You never know what each person is going to taste from the same juice.

Tribeca is still my favorite but Longhorne, Torque 56 and Prime 15 come in a close second.

Tribeca is a really solid jucie. my fave is still the prime 15. its just got that perfect nutty blast. the tobacco part in tribecca and prime taste similar, and its an authentic tobacco experience. same with torque which used to be my fave, but prime quickly won me over.
i was glad to see longhorn come along bc i feel that is also got the type tobacco as prime and tribeca except its got its own twist happening.

I got a 30ml of Longhorn along with my G6, and at first the nose and flavor were heavy on floral notes with a hint of chemical tones. After nearly a week, though, the nose and flavor have definitely undergone a tremendous shift to a more subtle, nuanced profile. I have to again agree with Soulman on picking up a honey topnote over a strong cigar tobacco base, but I'm also picking up vanilla and caramel coming in a close second and third place to the honey. Throat hit is just about off the charts, vapor is good and thick, and nicotine satisfaction is very, very high.

I've had some Longhorn steeping for at least 6-8 weeks now, and it still
tastes like perfume. Actually, I was just sitting down to atty it to see if
it's developed. I was surprised, though, considering how good Torque
is. The Longhorn is just a small sample bottle, so it shoulda been done
steepin' a long(horn) time ago.
