HALO
LONGHORN

18mg, VV twist @4.2v, blend ?, SR atty, steeped 1 day

Color- amber

Vapor-good

Throat hit- good+

Subtle, medium flavored, or strong flavored- medium+

Non sweet, slightly sweet, sweet, very sweet - non

Is it clean? (Is it free of any, perfumy, soapy or chemical like notes?)-no, there is a floral perfumy note that is strong till about 4.8v!

OVERALL RATING (Bad, ok, good, great)- ok-

MY EXPERIENCE & OPINION YMMV

If you were sitting next to me and asked, WELLL what do you think? I would say light cigar dipped in Grandpa's cologne, yet not horrible. A flavor with multiple personalities.

It is a brighter, stronger, musty flavor with a floral, perfumy presence throughout the voltage range but becomes blended and balanced at about 4.8v where the flavor becomes flatter. It is here that I almost enjoy it. Non sweet.

It's such a drag because the flavor level is right up where I like it, its smooth, has good vapor production and a good throat hit. That says to me-it's quality juice, just not my kind of flavor.

I haven't heard anything about this juice before, but I think a lot of people would find it offensive.

Overall I rated it "ok-" because I could vape it if I had to, but I wouldn't want to. It isn't absolutely repulsive but would be one of the last juices I would reach for. It wouldn't go in the trash (that would be "bad") but be up for trade. That kind of juice.

7mls are $5.99, 30mls are $19.99

If my experience with Tribeca is any indication, loooonnnng steep times help immensely in ridding Halo juices of off-flavors and weird sub-tone tastes. But then, I'm talking months here. More than one.

That may be true but in all fairness guys I asked ahead of time if they needed steeping time first. I was told no. So that review reflects my experience accurately. I have no problem revisiting it in a couple weeks.

Hey ogre, yea maybe you should let it steep...even tho they said it's good out of the box.
I had tribecca, didn't care for it..then 1 week later was the bomb! Hazely, tobacco flavor...was really good second time around.

I love Halo's juice......Midnite apple and torque are the bomb...

if it worth something :) i just dont shake halo liquids and the taste is better also i have put the bottle to take a little sun and it helps a lot; maybe put a couple of mls in a little bottle give it some sun and try it after.

No problem I will put it in my windowsill now for a day, revisit in a week or so. I'm not anti halo its just my opinion. Even the grandpa's cologne remark that was imo kind of funny it is true. It has that off putting like taste. The thing is, people should have a fair understanding what to expect. Juices that need sitting in the sun, and steep time should either come with an instruction booklet or something on the label that says we made this fresh for you, for best results wait two weeks b4 use. I'm not doubting it will get better, I like Tribeca and I'm vaping the Turkish. Now.

i just got a bottle of Longhorn. it is good. my dissection of the flavor goes a little something like this. Turkish tobacco base- dryish with a hint of muskiness. hints of floral, hints of butter rum, hints of chocolate- in that order. when i first vape it, i get the dry tobacco straight away. then the floral note pops in and develops into a rum-ish flavor with an ever-so-slight slight chocolate vibe. it reminds me of Gandalf. YMMV.

This is what I'm getting too. I'll shelf it for awhile to see if it tones down a bit.

Well I grabbed the bottle from the windowsill and put away for a week I noticed the bottle changed to a cream color and there was an old ship sailing across it...just kidding Ill try again soon.

I agree with some other posters, I've noticed some vast changes in taste after allowing it some time, I remember that bella needed over a month and Belgian really shone after a month as well.

wow belgian gets BETTER? thats awesome news, as i already thought it was bomb.

Just to update my original finding on Longhorn, since this thread has sat for awhile while I went off and forgot all about it:

Longhorn needed a week or so (for me, that is), but it blossomed beautifully. The floral notes transmutated into deep, rich vanilla and a half-again measure of caramel over profound tobacco. Could hardly vape it out of the mail, but after the transfiguration it underwent in that week, it was doomed. I don't think it lasted to the end of the second week.
