Menthol ICE E-Liquid

I ordered the Halo Menthol Ice, 12 mg/ml nicotine level juice.
Before I review the juice itself, I'd like to complain about the shipping. It took twice as long to arrive as it was supposed to. I tracked the package on USPS, and it took Halo 3 business days from the time I ordered it to even send USPS the shipping info. Then 2 days after that it finally left the USPS processing facility. I just finally got the juice today after 10 days of waiting, it was supposed to be 3-5 days max...
On to the juice.
I really had high hopes for this stuff, as I've heard many positive reviews. Lots of people claim it is their daily vape and that it has a really great flavor. When I got the juice I allowed it to warm up to room temperature as instructed by the paperwork that came in the package. I used a freshly cleaned syringe to fill a freshy cleaned and dry-burned cartomizer with the juice. Then I slapped it on to my Volcano Inferno and puffed away.
- Vapor production. I noticed that this juice creates nowhere near the amount of vapor that Volcano's Blue Water Punch creates. Blue Water Punch at 16mg is my daily vape, it's the only juice I've used since I started vaping (aside from what came in disposables I tried). I've grown tired of the taste, but have been pleased with the throat hit and vapor production. Halo Menthol Ice by contrast produces vapor that is nowhere near as voluminous and milky.
- Taste. The flavor, while quite minty and sweet, is certainly not menthol. It has more of a wintergreen flavor. It is good, I actually like it quite a bit... but it's not what I was expecting. I'm looking for a more cooling type of menthol, that will really cool the back of my throat in the way that a Newport cigarette does. I'm pretty sure there is absolutely no menthol in this juice.
- Throat hit. There is almost no throat hit at all. This is very disappointing to me. Maybe I need a higher nicotine level, I don't know. But each puff I take just lets me down. I really need that strong kick to feel like I'm smoking something. I've been vaping this juice all day without going back to the Blue Water Punch, just to see if it will work for me. I'm sorry to say I don't think it will.
I only have one real point of reference for this review, which is the Blue Water Punch. So I might be a bit harsh on Halo, but overall I give it a 2/5. Really disappointed, especially after the long wait.
