Some VG juices have small amounts of PG for flavoring, think maybe 5-10% but they are listed as 100% VG.
Some vendors disclose that, some do not, some have moved over to pure lines, like HHV.
I do not have a problem (for the most part) with small amounts of PG throughout the day as long as I'm not chaining so I can't tell you which ones do/do not just by reactions.

Bobas at 100% vg or gorilla juice from AVE are great 100%vg juices. You won't feel cheated. Any of HHV 100% vg you will also be happy with. And HHV uses vg flavoring for theirs so it is in fact 100% vg. I can tolerate up to about 40% pg without any adverse effects. I'd recommend going with as much pg as you can tolerate. More pg will give you more flavor, a better throat hit, and is typically thinner so it's easier on cartos and such. Although HHV 100%vg tastes full strength to me and is fairly thin.

Perfect! Thanks! I guess it's an individual thing that requires trial and error. I wonder if there are other substances besides PG and VG that could be used for e-juice? And while I'm brain storming, someone should develop a solar charging battery setup. :2cool:

I would love to try halo juices, I have been eye balling it for some time now... I would have been completely humble about getting samples.. Look at all the other stuff we consume that does not disclose exactly what or where its made and people getting bent over them not revealing there secret formula? In the end I could case less what's in the liquid as long as I am not smoking cigarettes Lol
(knowing there most likely is nothing harmful especially from top notch places like halo)

When I first started vaping I used 100% VG liquids. When I tried PG juices in the 80% to 100% range, the throat hit knocked me for a loop and made my throat sore. Over time, I kept trying PG predominant liquids and eventually went to high PG liquids and experienced normal throat hit and much more taste.

Now, my juice of choice is high in PG. I think most people are not inherently and physically allergic to PG are able to adjust to it fine. A serious allergy to PG would be evident in the products you use every day. Toothpaste, creams, makeup, salad dressing, fruit drinks, a long list of foods, and many others contain PG in solution. It's a chemical thickener used widely in most of the products we buy and use all the time.

You might not be as allergic to PG as you think. It's hard to avoid in daily life.

Email them. They've been quite generous with their samples lately.

I agree with you Dave. I too started high 100VG (it has the word vegetable in it- gotta be better!). I run and felt like I had a weight on my chest. That stuff is thick! Slowly increased to higher and higher PG. For me, it's better. I do lower nicotine strength somewhat. I like it and so does my cartos.

It's not necessarily a pg allergy. Allergies and sensitivities are different. Some people are allergic to say Tylenol and can end up dead from it. Others may simply be intolerant and get nauseated or upset stomach. Inhaled pg is a different beast than other forms of pg. One may be able to ingest pg all day without a single problem but may be sensitive to inhaled pg. Inhaling pg may just irritate the mucous membranes and cause a temporary inflammation or it could cause a full blown immune reaction to it. I myself can tolerate it to an extent but no my body will not adapt to it and allow me to tolerate higher levels. I'm certain others will find this as well if they are in fact intolerant to pg. Those allergic to pg should avoid it entirely or risk an anaphylactic reaction. I am a medical professional by the way.

Might just add. I personally have never heard of someone being truly allergic to pg inhaled or not. "Allergic" is a term that gets thrown about when in fact it's just an intolerance or sensitivity to it. Say you take penicillin and it makes you throw up and get ........ so you tell ur Dr that you're "allergic" to it. In fact you're not. That was an intolerance to it.

Halo broke my vaping cherry, if it wasn't for Halo I'd probably still be smoking because of bad experiences with starting out in vaping.

Over the past year Halo has probably gotten upwards of $700 from me. When I began vaping, I got both of their starter kits, samplers, passthrough, and juice. It was clear the quality of halo products were top notch. As time went on and I kept pumping money in, the one time I had an issue with anything, I was met with a less than appeasing response that felt really generic compared to the effort I put into the email and not making it sound standoffish.

Products Good, Customer Service... could be a lot better, especially for tenured customers who've invested a lot in Halo. I'm absolutely hooked on their juices even when I consider I could save a lot of cash just by switching venders. But because I'm hooked I feel like I have to just ignore my frustrations and continue to order... especially when I get generic - I don't give a crap, its not our fault- responses.

I can totally see multiple sides of the situation here. I get that people who are sensitive to PG feel like its not a big deal to divulge % because most vendors do. And I get that Halo knows they have a good thing going and any potential to compromise that could end the momentum. And I understand people who are disgruntled by generic responses also have a valid point.

I don't have a solution since I'm hooked and can't be like "well don't buy it then..." :/

I'm happy to see there may be a PG sensitive solution in the works for you folks who can't enjoy the good flavors they have, If anything that's a step in the right direction at least.
