Well, you made a good decision with getting the sampler. I read in a thread, I think it was the Really Big RY4 Roundup, that Halo juices lose that trait, off-putting to some, after 6 months or so. That seems like an absurd amount of time, but maybe just put it away for the winter or something.

Thanks for letting me know -- I won't give up on them just yet! Oddly, I didn't think HX3, Midnight Apple, or Belgian Cocoa needed any steep time at all, and Captain, Tribeca, and Torque, maybe a week or two. Maybe I'll bury the Prime 15 and the Bella in a time capsule in the backyard or something.

HA! Yeah, it isn't something I would exactly "wait" on, but time will pass regardless; so, a time capsule sounds like a great idea, funny, but a great idea ;)

Maybe I got a bad batch, but my Prime 15 tasted like a grilled pork chop rolled in dirt. I did not care for it.

Yeah, maybe. I have a very elaborate testing procedure at my house. You could send it to me and I will make sure it is not a bad batch...

I WILL TEST IT THOROUGHLY...:sneaky::lol:

Prime is my absolute favorite!!! It does smell a little weird when I first open the bottle but after a week it starts to smell much like a humidor. I have never had anyone complain about the smell and I've been told that it smells like hazelnuts. I love Halo e-juice...Prime, Freedom and I just tried the new Turkish Tobacco....very nice!

Yeah, certainly vapeable, and my tastes are always subject to change. I've got no gripes with Prime, 'cept maybe long steep time in my case, but then BWB's Casablanca is one of my favorites and it's got a ridiculously long steep time.

oh man the Casa is like a fine wine. ive got some from 9/2011 and its completely transformed. its got this super crazy maroon color going on too.

Hey Tez, how long ago was it that you bought Casablanca for the first time?

I bought my first bottle in early March, but I had sampled some nicely aged Casa back in January and decided it was pretty heavenly.

Agreed! I think it's one of the most complex, interesting, and dynamic juices out there. I'm amazed at how that stuff changes, and it just seems to keep changing and getting better. I'll probably never ever see the maroon phase, but I bet that's pure liquid nirvana right there! I did a mini study on a couple of samples (complete with visuals!) of Casa to show how it changes here, in case you guys are interested in taking a look.

Man! How did I miss the boat on those samples of Turkish Tobacco?! I just put an order in for some Belgian Cocoa and Freedom last week. Rats! I'll keep an eye out for y'all's reviews -- sounds intriguing!

I had a tank-full of Prime loaded up in an eGo-C today, and I could smell the strong aroma coming from the tank while it was in my pocket -- potent stuff! Oddly, I don't feel like the vapor smells that strong (at least not as strong as some Halo juices), but I was surprised at how much I could smell it in its liquid form. Not necessarily a bad smell in my book, just strong.

I got a small bottle of prime with a Halo sampler (great buy!). Loved Tribeca, enjoyed Torque. I didn't think the prime tasted like anything. I thought maybe they forgot to add the flavor.

I did detect some small nutty taste. I'm surprised at people describing it as "stinky". Mine barely had a smell. I put it away for a few weeks and just tried it again. A little better but not much different.

I can't help feeling I'm missing somthing. The color is pretty close to clear. Is that how it is supposed to be??

Just looked at it and yes, it's pretty clear...but it does have a strong smell imo.

Got the Halo sampler too, including Prime 15. They all tasted horrible. Unvapable. No choice but to throw them out or let them steep. A month later, I've revisited them.

Steeping DOES make a difference, in Halo's case.

The Prime 15, initially, tasted like fish + solvent. Disgusting to me. A month later? I like it best of the six samplers. Not enough to reorder, probably. (Also like their Torque 56 and HX 3. But again, not enough to reorder. I have other venders' ejuices I love better right out of the bottle.)

The other Halo juices, a month later, are finally all vapable to me. But -- now it's just personal taste -- none of Halo's sampler flavors do it for me.
