Halo Triton - Do batteries come charged?

Would post this in the halo forums but am unable to because of the restrictions.

Should I do the 8hour initiation charge on the Triton battery or can I use it out of the box?

Also, I read a lot about plastic tasting tanks. How should I go about cleaning the tanks because this is my first pv aside from the G6,

3 posts more and you can post away on the Halo forum. No, you don't have to do an initial 8-hour charge. Triton batteries have no "memory" and will also automatically stop accepting a charge when full. Use one straight out of the box and put the other on the charger.

Yes, your batteries come at least partially charged and can be used straight from the box. They also like to be topped off rather than allowed to get fully discharged, so put them back on a charger when they start getting low-ish.

What kind of tanks did you get? I'm not familiar with the Triton line, but there are many videos on YouTube about cleaning and filling all kinds of tanks and clearos. I'm sure you'll be able to find one that deals with your tanks specifically. Generally, I like to clean the tank body in little warm water and a drop of dishwashing detergent before the first use--if your tank comes apart. Do not wash your atomizer in soapy water, though!
