Technically, PG is an irritant (deliberately used to simulate "throat hit").

I don't know a lot of people that can handle an 80/20 mix; it's pretty harsh.

Yeah I let my mom try it, who is a 2 pack a day smoker (I was only smoking 1 pack every 2-3 days) and she coughed like she took a hit of weed for the first time. What's the ratio for halo? It doesn't say on their site, at least not that I saw.

Anyway the crap fluid I bought is 24mg and I think it's high for me. The guy at the shop told me that's what I should get. I get a nicotine buzz every time I vape. The halo liquid is 18mg though

I also started at 24mg.i just dropped down to 18mg last week. Seems like 18mg is doing the trick for me. To high a nic lvl could make you sick, believe me, I had headaches all the time.

Yeah I had a headache and very slight nausea but it goes away after like an hour

Same here. Thought I was getting dehydrated, but I guess I over estimated my nic intake. I was smoking a pack or so a day. Hopefully with my next halo order, I can drop it down to 12mg.

Buzz is nice though. Too bad it only lasts a few mins

If you're stuck with a bottle of 24 mg, you can get a bottle of 12 mg, and mix it 50/50 with the 24, to get it back down to 18. Mix and match as you need.

Right now, I'm mixing 6 and 0, to make 3, 'cause 6 is getting to be a bit too much now (I started at 12 mg/mL).

Getting your nic level right is the hardest thing you have to do, when getting started. Dizziness is a symptom of too much nic. Everyone is different when it comes to vaping; some vape more than they used to smoke, some vape less, so that affects your nic level. Some people switch nic levels throughout the day; strong in the morning, and less in the evening (otherwise you end up being up all night!). If you're a coffee drinker, you can cut that in half, and always remember to drink lots of water; our vape will suck water out of you faster than you can imagine.

So I am such a ...... I filled my tank with Tribeca. Realized I didn't shake it before filling so went to shake it after. Didn't realize I forgot to screw the cap on and got enough on my hand to cover the whole back of it. I immediately washed my hands like 5 times lol. I need to freaking pay attention

To be clear I went to shake the bottle not the tank. My hand feels kinda nice but I think I'm being neurotic. Do I have anything to worry about if i washed it off immediately? It was a decent amount.

Probably not, but nic can soak into skin. Keep an eye out for redness or anything abnormal.

Well it's been like 20 minutes and I feel pretty much the same except for anxious cause it scared the crap out of me when it happened, so I assume I washed most of it off.

It happens to all of us!

Good call washing it off; you vape 24 mg right? It's absorbed through the skin. In fact, it's absorbed by your mouth, even before you inhale... but the skin in your mouth is different than your hand.

Lower nic isn't too much of a concern, but no one wants too much nic; it'll just make you dizzy, then nauseous, then you can only vape 0 nic until you feel better (not that you'll feel like vaping...)

Once the tank is empty I'm filling it with halo liquid. I promise.

Really?? You are just kidding us, right? The stuff you got from somewhere, the stuff that is giving you reactions? "Yeah I had a headache and very slight nausea." The stuff that made your mother gag?

This is what you can do that will make it all better. Follow this closely.

Go to the sink, turn on the water, mildly hot. Open the tank if you still have that liquid in it. (If it has the 18mg Tribeca, never mind) Now listen carefully, this is critical. With the opened tank, tip it until the liquid pours out and down the drain. Now rinse out the tank. There's a video below with instructions. And take the rest of that bottle, open it gently, and pour it down the drain as well. Keep the bottle as a reminder of a lesson that cost you a few bucks to learn. I will not put crap into my body. (Isn't that the reason we stopped the poison in cigarettes?)

While waiting for it to dry out, go do your due diligence and read about this vaping in the links that all of you newbies should read. When it dries out, put the real eliquid from Halo in it.
