Yes, and no.

Some condensation happens, that's normal. Just wipe the battery connector.

If your coil (inside the tank) isn't screwed down fully, it may leak: remove the tip, and check it.

New coils need their sleeve shoved down a bit: when you can, (you must have less than 2.0 mL in the tank to do this), remove the coil (it unscrews) and push the plastic sleeve down, over the wicks.

After you get used to cleaning these, you'll never have this problem.

I rotate through 6 Triton tanks, and I swear by them.

if you ever break your tip, you can get replacements: they are Kanger T2.

After you have made sure that the coil is snugged up you may still have some juice is the tube. This sometimes happens even when the coil is snug if you overfill past where the wicks go into coil. With the tank off take a little bit of tissue and stick it up under the bottom of tank. Blow thru the mouthpiece and excess fluid will drain into tissue Repeat and check tissue to make sure no more fluid is coming thru. Screw on tank and good to go.
