I just started vaping a few days ago everything was going great until i cleaned out my tanks for new flavors. I rinsed them out thoroughly and let them dry over night. the next day a put them back together and poured new flavors in. I connected them to my fully charged batteries but they didn't work. I tried the whole process again and it still didn't work. Any advice?

Hi @Nikki2418 and welcome to the forum. My advice would not be very helpful, as I'd suggest getting a little different vape gear to use.... but.....

On the OLD technology eGo style batteries sometimes the 510 center pin (the center of the battery that makes contact with the bottom of the coil) can get stuck in a down position or cocked slightly sideways. I doubt this is the issue though.

The only other issue I can think of is the coil in your clearomizers (tank) is toast. If it's possible to change out the coil then thats what you need to try. The coil needs to be properly seated in the tank to make contact with the battery part.

The advice I usually give new vapers is to start out with this type gear

An Aspire Nautilus Mini tank($22) and the iStick 30 watt mod battery ($30). It is probably 3 times the quality vape as what you started with (if I looked at the correct Triton gear online), and the battery/mod is 2200 mah (longer lasting before recharge than what you now have).

Good luck.

You say you cleaned the tanks. How? Soap and water? If the wick is still wet with water, it may be shorting across the coil and the battery will not fire because it thinks the resistance is too low.
I cleaned them with hot water and set them out to dry over night, they were completely dry when i put them back together.

I cleaned a few Kanger T-series atomizer heads. Only a few of them worked again.
They also dry-burned very ineffectively.

You should look into new gear though, regardless and not be defensive about that suggestion. Halo use other peoples products, rebrand them and then run off with extra amounts of your money with old tech products. Any initial outlay on a new type of tank would pay for itself very quickly with more reliability (importantly) a better vape generally (also importantly) and less cost to you as a consumer.

I'm not saying you should, only that you know what the deal is with brands. :)

I use the same set up and had the same problems as you.
I found that you have to let the tank and coil dry (separately) for at least 1 day if not longer. Also blow thru the empty tank to clear any moisture in the tiny hole at the bottom.

Some suggestions.

#1. Change the coil/wick head. Make sure that you didn't get a little part of the wick caught in the threads when you screwed the head onto the tank.

#2. If the wick is still wet, it will seem weak until the water vapes out and you start wicking e-liquid.

#3. Sometimes the tank and the battery don't make a connection. Wiggle the center post of the battery with a tiny screwdriver/paper clip just to get it out a tiny bit like 1 millimeter. Doesn't take much.
