What are Halo Triton tanks made of, some sort of plastic? Pyrex? I heard that some juices can deteriorate or even crack tanks, and I want to be sure that the gear that I am vaping with will be ok with my tanks.
They are made of polycarbonate plastic. All clear plastic tanks are made of this. Polycarbonate is susceptable to cracking, melting, or etching if exposed to certain flavoring agents such as Cinnamon and Citrus Flavors. This is the result of a molecular chemical reaction and breakdown of only polycarbonate.
Pyrex is glass and will withstand any juice. There's many companies that make them and probably tens of thousands of sites/vendors that sell them. See the above links if you need more info. Most popular pyrex/glass tanks seem to be most of the Kanger Protank line(3-4 different models) and some of the Aspire like their Nautilus. I'm sure there's many more that you'll find if you search ECF (or Google or YouTube) for glass tanks or pyrex tanks.
No question about it, you can use your Halo with pretty much any good e-liquid. Halo does make some of the best though I also like some of the V2 liquids, no bad either especially the V2 Red. [edited]
