Anyone else out there using the Halo Triton system? What do you like about it and what do you NOT like? That's what I'm using now, and I've found that overall, I absolutely love it. I've had some issues with having to replace the coils too often (once every week or two is too often, IMO), but other than that it's been a literal lifesaver. Thoughts???

I have not used the Halo system, but many here have. IME, coil replacement every week or two is par for the course. I have used many different clearos/tanks, and all have a similar lifespan. Depending on type of juice (sweet and dark flavors tend to "kill" coils faster than unflavored or plain flavors) and frequency of use (like, one or two dedicated tanks used all day, every day), I can get about one or two weeks MAX on any coil of any brand. So you're not alone or abnormally "burning" through your coils.

I've used on, it's what got me off of the real ones and into vaping. Honestly though I didn't use it long enough to really need replacing coils. I found that the Halo connection limited the types of different clear/cart tanks you can use and I was very interested in trying those. I moved up to an MVP 2 then a Provari.

If they'd have used a regular 510 connection and have some of their own versions of the different tank systems I'd have probably stuck with them. Still use their juices though. Most are their menthol/mints and don't clog coils/wicks as bad as the darker juices.

I have used it and overall it's good equipment that will get things started.

My issues are:

1. I don't like the 808/ego threading. In order to branch out, I had to go to 510/ego batteries. But my wife has been using that style for 18 months.

2. The price. The Triton tank is pretty much a Kanger T2 and T2 coils fit. Both the tank and the coils are much cheaper elsewhere. I can get kanger T2 for $4.29 and a 5 pack of coils for $3.99 at vapingme.
