I think what confuses people is that they don't really tell you this. You get a tracking number, then they tell you they've got the package. Sometimes it's updated like any other, other times its not. What they should do is automatically state the package is en route, give an estimated delivery date, and state the only thing available through the tracking site is delivery confirmation. Far less aggravating.

I just got some juice in the mail today. USPS's site said electronic info received since Saturday. No change until about 3 hours after delivery when it had all the info updated at once.

USPS does have some information about this in their help files on their website, but hunting around in help files can be more annoying than helpful. Actually Halo has tried to provide their customers with information to help understand First Class shipping on their website. If you click on Shipping Policy this is how it reads about tracking:

"Shipment Tracking

Orders shipped via USPS First Class Mail will be sent with "Delivery Confirmation" to ensure they reach the intended recipient. Although you will receive a tracking number upon shipment, full tracking will not be available. Typically, the USPS tracking information for First Class shipments will only indicate when the package was scheduled for delivery and when the package was delivered. Priority Mail offers full tracking capabilities, which includes updates once packages reach each USPS hub."

It would be less confusing if USPS Tracking/Delivery Confirmation weren't lumped together like they are, it does give the impression that we're getting both, when we're really not with First Class. Maybe a sticky note of the Shipping Policy in the Halo forum would be a good idea.
