thx buddy, nice enclosures for a flask like look, but for now i'm just gonna spend the time needed to sand down the slant, went ahead and ordered a G and a B hammond box (not sure if the g is big enough for what i want to do).
The best think I have found is to just make your own, even with few tools. You can get metal for the outer band at a big box retailer or on-line and then use wood skins that suit you.
I hear you, and I wish I had the skills to go full "from scratch" but I am not there yet, starting from parts seems more reasonnable right now if I want to produce a box I can use somewhere else than a dark locked room
I have a couple from Jameco the only thing is you have to grind down the internal pcb mounting ribs which is short work with a rotary tool.

The best way to get almost any size you want because they do custom cuts and if you order 2x4 in 1 inch lenght thats like $1 and all you need is sides which you can order from them too and they custom cut sheet aluminium too
Frame and sides shouldnt be more like $5
I ordered 2x4 in 35mm length and 1 12x12 black plexi sheet which i will use to make variant ant sx350 xD
