does anyone haver any info on this mod here? was wondering if it has a legit dna board or if it is some kind of knock off.
since innokin is going to use evolve's boards, as rumor has it, it wouldn't shock me to see another chinese maker using it to, but i am wondering if it worth the $80 to give it a shot or not..

I assume the chip will be a clone as well. I would stay away from that particular clone because it will only be aesthetics not quality.

If this is the same clone thats on illvapes, it comes with a LiPo battery (scary) but illvapes claims it can be replaced with a 18650 battery.. I am not sure how much soldering you would need to do though lol

If this chinese factory really did get screwed by hana and is having to make these clones to make up for losses spent on tooling.. then I would guess they'd be 1:1 clones of the original... as far as the board being the exact one from evolv, I doubt it is.. but it may be just as good.. really there isn't enough information on it to be able to tell how it will perform.. I will just wait until enough people have these clones in their hands so that we can hear some positive or negative feedback... hate being a guinea pig for anything.. you can always get a vaporshark dna30, a protovapor dna30, or a ZNA... all pretty trustworthy and house 18650 if im not mistaken

If it's using the new SXxxx chip, you can bet that the quality will be every bit as good the Evolv chip, and with a better display at that. I'm using the SX200 chip in the Sigelei 20W (regulated 7-20W). It's amazing, and the tests bear out the FACT that it performs every bit as good as the DNA20 in EVERY situation. See Phil Busardo's review of the 20W.

And the chip is no more a clone of the Evolv chip than a Toyota Tundra is a clone of the Ford F150. They do the same types of things, but are not the same thing. It's simply the Chinese version of a regulating chip.

I was hoping the Hana mod clone have the SX____ chipboard, but not for the moment. A good possibility it will happen in the future. It will destroy all the DNA box mod currently selling in the US and or across the world. I was told the DNA is a replica of Evolv's chipboard made in Taiwan. I think I will like to have a little faith in Chinese manufacturer, their innovation/technology should be up to par considering the favourable SX--- chips that has been very popular as of late.

This is very true, chinese manufacturing simply has a bad image not always bad products.

honestly, even if these clones suck I can throw evolv chips in them and then I've got my feraro with a ferrari engine.

@ Dylanig

I think the replica of the Evolv's chipboard will be up to par with the genuine, or at least it will be superior than any past Chinese chipboard that are currently in the market except for the SX--- series. I don't doubt it will suck harry balls.

May the Vaping God help brings us happiness and salvation. It is for the greater good .___.

One of the reason DNA30 mods are hard to get is some Chinese manufacturers have purchased a boatload of them(Sigelei) for a soon to be released set of mods that will be originals. The Counterfeit Hana's use the CNA chip which is the Chinese attempt at a DNA Chip. The biggest difference in the specs is the 1 year warranty Evolve offers on theirs and the 90 day ship it back to China warranty of the CNA.

Your comfort level should lead you to what you purchase.

Strange i am sure evolv only offer a 90 day warranty on there DNAs and Kicks maybe UK only, something is not right to why would the dragon purchase evolv boards given tbe cost when it seems the SX200, SX220, SX350 and soon to be released SX4xx and 500 series boards are atleast competitive or less per unit cost of a evolv DNA and have other feature selling options ie stepdown, .3, by pass mode, 12.5A (SX350)

Makes no sense when evolv already had supply issues, did evolv ditch there stock for profit knowing there endgame is in sight?

I asked Illvapes about that as I had ordered one and they said they won't be sending them out with LiPos, just with the Hana Logo. You can use your own 18650. Same as the No Logo one really, if I wanted I could change to the No Logo one and be refunded $40.
So basically it seems all the sellers of Cloupor are all the same Mod. Illvapes has the Logo option for $40 when you get right down to it. FYI you can't order their Logo one anymore :)
They said the quality just wasn't there on the LiPo one, hope that helps.
