Quick question... is that color "blue" or "Navy Blue"? Also, does your mini have the LED next to the ISB charger port? If not, does it give some indication when it is fully charged?
Thanks so much!

You obviously know a lot more about these things than I do, but so far I've had good luck charging my two v3s from the usb port of a MacBook pro with no problems. I usually will leave the one with the lowest battery level on the port all night. Am I asking for trouble?

nitrox, nothing will blow up. however maxing out the pc's usb port for a couple hours can damage the usb controller on the motherboard. you can charge it a little while but I would not always do a full charge off the pc. especially if you have other usb things plugged in. a high end modern computer will throttle the usb ports so if you have like at least a 3rd gen i5-i7 setup then go right ahead and charge it all day. of course do so at your own risk anyways but it should be okay.

Thanks. My Hana DNA 30 full size has that. Was thinking of ordering a Mini and wanted to know if the Mini had it as well.

I love my full size V3. :D I had a mini for a couple of days and hated the battery life with a Rda at 20+ watts. I'm sure it would be ok with a rta at half the wattage. Just my :2c: worth Just wanted you to be aware of that. Fortunately I have a great B&M that swapped it for me :toast:

On the website of where I ordered mine (not sure if I can post the name here or not?) some of the minis are picture with it. So I am assuming the new ones do. They are also on sale now-$50 off both full and mini! And they have added some new colors. If you go to the Hana website or FB page it will list that dealer :)

Awesome, thanks! I have a home-built PC running a Haswell i5 4670k

yes, newer computers wil provide 1.0a per controller. most have at least two controllers on board and multiple ports. the newer ones also have what is called task scheduling. they will not allow a single device to draw too much power and blow the controller diode. they will simply limit power to the device that is drawing too much and in the case of the hana it will just take longer to charge. however if you have a bunch of stuff connected a game controller, printer interface etc may get errors. a newer computer can also mostly work around these errors too. so, if these machines are sometime after 2012 they are usually fine. if you are still running a p4 I would be careful. nothing will blow up anyways. it will just cause the controller to die on a machine pre 2012. although even some good machines from 2009 had this. some apples did but mainly the mac tower.

A tip - don't put your Hana Mod into a pocket that you think is a pocket that is actually a slip in the lining of your jacket that is shaped liked a pocket. A 3 foot drop onto the concrete and the Hana just rattles like it's insides are gone...

Ouch...did it survive the fall?

Well, I just took advantage of the authentic Hana sales and snagged a Navy Blue Mini V3 for $199 w/ free shipping. I can see how these could be a little addictive. But hey... ya gotta have backups, right?

Probably nothing new to many of you, but I emailed Hana Modz and battery replacements for the Mini are $15 + $6 shipping. Good to know they will sell you replacements.

I got caught up on that sale as well XJ-order a black one:) Got another regular sized one. I figure that since I had 2 Provaris, that I needed an even number;) Got a six month vapersary coming up too-Had to treat myself right? LOL No more mods for awhile!

Glad yours survived the fall Vosblod :) I'm careful with stuff but accidents do happen and it's good to know they are durable to a certain extent.

Vapersary - I like that! My 2 year is coming up in a few weeks and I guess I've been rationalizing a lot of purchases with the vapersary thing. Congrats on the full-size Black. My full-size is black too. Black is the fastest color next to red.
