So this mod has gotten some bad reviews and I do not think its warranted. It is plastic but you know that going in. It is a rubber type finish like the VS. This thing is tiny, it is the smallest VW device I have every had or seen. Big screen dna works as it should. TC is working great and seems very good on battery life, defiantly better than my D2. I am impressed with the TC, it is very smooth and provides a consistent vape. I ordered the $49 model without the battery extension and they sent me the whole kit (yay me) not sure if this was intentional or a mistake but I am glad to have.

Hard to pass this up its a great little mod for tanks and out of the house.

damn i have too many mods not to mention too many dna mods. but for $50 damn if you dont own a dna device you'd have to be a block head not to jump on this.
:) yah.....it is really a cool little device. My Hurricane weighs more than the mod does with a battery in it lol

They have a blue one too thats nice. I think I will get one of these if they still have them when I can do it.

Too bad they want $50 USD to ship to Canada. Between that and the brutal exchange rate is enough to keep my money. Might have to check around and see if any of my friends and family have a US shipping address I could send it to. $60 for the full kit is an incredible deal.
I would do it for you if it came to that. And I am sure there are many other peeps that would too.

Thanks rhelton! I am seriously considering taking you up on the offer:). I am going to talk to my uncle on Monday and see if he has a box he uses as it would be free and easy. They have a summer place that is pretty close to the border but spend the winters in the southern US. I will PM you if he falls through. Thanks again and I really appreciate the offer!

I did not check the cost but Hyperion vape has them also and I think they use USPS maybe that is cheaper.

I know I checked with them last year when I was buying just the board and they wanted $25 for shipping. I thought that was a bit much for the board by itself. At $25 for the whole mod it's not nearly as bad. I will check them out tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up.

Real question here, meaning my question is not fake. Does anyone here still use 40w temp control mods if they can afford (and have) 200w temperature control mods?

I vape between 25 and 38 watts on Suntanks, Delata 2 and Lemo 2s. I have a few 100 watt and over mods but don't come close to using the power. If I drip, which is pretty much never I run around 50 watts. I prefer to buy mods that have some extra power In case a new tank comes out that needs it but realistically I have avoided power hungry devices in favour of better battery life. That's not to say one won't come out that I want to try but so far I am happy with what I have for tanks and have been for a while now.

I'll be quite honest I understand where you're coming from but in my opinion, when you set up just the right coil, 200w device is a must. Mechanical mods have not been cutting it for the complexity of coils that I have. I'm all fine and well making a 0.14 ohm dual coil setup, but sometimes that's just not an option when crafting the crazier status coils.

For sure there is a need and use for high powered mods in the market. I personally do not need the high power at present time. I say at present time because there was a long time I didn't go over 14 watts and before that vaped around 9 watts. I like to have a bit of room to grow in a mod if possible but this is a great device and price for my needs. Plus when I outgrow a mod I hand it down to my wife who couldnt care less about what device she has as long as it does 10 watts, has a relatively fresh Kayfun build and the battery lasts all day:).

Right behind you...
I divested myself of all my genuine DNA40 mods while they still had some market value (still have several DNA40 clones though, which have a market value roughly equal to their shipping cost). Looks like Hana is divesting too. The Hana One would have been a big hit at the original $110 price point if they'd released it early in the year. Sadly, it was released too late, after all the decent, affordable Chinese authentic TC mods from the big players showed up.

For me, 40 watts just isn't enough for me these days, since I find myself preferring builds with a fair amount of coil mass to heat up (dual, twisted, clapton, etc) combined with a lot of airflow. Tried going back to a single coil/single strand build recently, just didn't cut the mustard.
