I’ve decided to step up my vape game now that I’m not a complete noob and I’ve decided to pick up a dna 40 Hana OR Hana mini. I’m still new and will be rebuilding in the very near future and I’m looking to future proof myself.

I do have one question, in your opinion, is the shorter battery life of the mini a detriment to the device? What is the typical vape time at higher watts on the mini? If I vape mostly at home should I just get the full size? Just looking for some opinions on the two.

Pretty sure the mini uses a lipo pack while the full size uses 18650's. I'd get the one that takes the 18650's.

I just picked up a Mini. Waiting to get home from work to go get it @ my house. I went with the Mini for a few reasons. One is that I love small mods. Second, I travel a lot for work, so the size will be perfect to bring with me on the road. And thirdly, I also have a Vaporflask DNA 40 which takes two 18650's for when I need longer battery life. I also have a Vaporshark rDNA 30 which takes an 18650, so I figured getting the Mini made sense....

I will let you know how I like it when I have a chance to play with it some.... :)

Well I ordered the Hana Mini, but when I got home from work yesterday and unboxed it, I found that they sent me the full-size one by accident. At first I was going to send it back and get the mini, but then I decided to keep the full-size one.

My reasoning for this is because I figure if the DNA chip ever wigs out on me, at least now I can pull the battery and start over. Something you can't exactly do with the Mini. I also like how the battery is user-replacable. So I put a battery in the Hana and tried a nickel build in my Hobo. I think I got a good chip as it seems to be working very well!

I still wish I had the size of the Mini, but oh well. I am quite liking the ful-size one at this point! :)

Sounds like all worked out for you then! For the same reasons that you stated I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the full size. If I ever really need something high-end for on the go I will pick up a vapor shark. A istick though covers most of my on the go needs. Hell, I'have just been carrying a ego with me for months and it's served me awesome. Think I'd rather have the big boy for at home fun.
