Hand Turned Wooden Tips from Al's Wood Carvings

Hey Guys, I have been making the tips for friends and a few shops for over a year and thought I would go public with them on ECF. They are hand turned out of burlwood or other highly figured wood. No two are exactly the same and are different lenghts. They are lined with stainless steel tubing so no juice comes in contact with the wood and finished with ca clue or Wood Turners Magic both of which are food safe and provide a durable finish. they will fit most carto, vivi novas and rba's that use a 510 tip. I fit them all to boge cartos, vivi novas to test the fit.

they look great are you using CA or varnish for the finish?

Most are finished with wood turners magic from woodrite its a lacquer polymer blend that is food safe. I use it when i finish pens and it holds up extremely well. Some are ca bit its messy and gives me a headache. Both hold up equally well. Ca is a bit glossier.
