Hi,

I'm looking to order some handmade Fused Claptons and Aliens. Ideally, I'd like to run them at max 75-80W in a dual coil setup and below maybe 55-60W in single. Could anyone advice me how to figure out the gauges/resistance I should aim for?

If you want a fast ramp, then using a core of 28g x 3 or 4 will give you that at those wattages. Something like a 3*28/36 or 4*28/36

Slower ramp, but more mass and surface area would be a 3*26/36
